Excellent gate
We purchased this pet gate to keep our puppy contained in the family room. The gate is sturdy and attractive. I am very pleased with the item. I added a couple of extra cushions to protect the doorway from scratches from the sides, as well as one on the door so it won't scratch my wood door frame.

Nicest I have seen one or 2 flaws
I had been wanting to purchase this gate since I bought my house 6 months ago. It was on sale recently and I jumped on it. You won't find a nicer gate on any pet website. Only real issue i had was the spring loaded latch on the gate itself. You have to make sure each end of the gate is straight and not angled at all but even then it seems like the latch is a tad to long to close properly when it hits the gate. It's supposed to hit the angled metal on the gate and push the latch backwards. I found it locking at the bottom which is a different mechanism, but the top the latch wouldn't hit the angled metal on the gate because it was to long and wouldn't hit the angled piece on the other side. I took off the panel to the latch(which is nice that you can actually do that.) And put a small screw through the latch (it's plastic ) to keep the latch from sticking out as far. The gate works perfectly now. My dogs hate it. =)

Great Customer Service
I purchased a free standing pet gate, as we recently got a new puppy that is very busy and we needed to corral him. The gate arrived and was very nice. Made of heavy material and very nice looking. I actually had to return this item as nowhere on the site did it specify this item was for animals UP to 18 lbs. Our puppy was already 20 lbs and growing fast - and would've been able to knock the gate over easily. I contacted customer service and with no hassle, they agreed to refund my total purchase price and even sent me a return label for the item. So even tho I did not end up keeping my purchase, I was very pleased with the quality of the item, the fast shipping AND ultimately their excellent customer service once I realized there was a problem. I appreciated it.

Love this product!
This gate is a great find! Not only does it look great, but it is easy to get over and does not mark the walls or door frame. This height only works for a passive dog who is not adventurous.

Attractive, sturdy pet gate
This is a real upgrade from the pet-store wood & plastic mesh gate we had been using, which was flimsy and ugly. This is attractive and easy to step over. The only negative might be the loose pins which join the end panels to the main panel, but once the bolt is added it's pretty solid.

Keeps them close but not in the way...
This pet barrier is great! Very attractive and easily moved. It allows me to keep my dogs at a distance while I answer the door. Prior to this barrier I would have to hold them by the collar and shushhh them until they stopped barking! We are working on their manners, but, until we have completed that task, this barrier gets the job done.

Great Purchase
I am very pleased with the gate. It's doing exactly what I wanted it to do and it looks great. I like the fact that it can be taken down and put away when not needed or when company comes over.

Good Stand Alone Gate
My family needed to block off 2 entrances to our kitchen and we used for the larger one. It's by far the most attractive gate we found and it works very well. The door feature is wonderful and it's a good purchase. The only cons are that it doesn't have anyway to really "stay put" since it's stand alone.

Excellent Product
The Pet Barrier Gate is beautiful, easy to install. Other gates that I saw were more expensive, and cheap looking. Shipping was unbelievably fast, I got it within 4 days instead of 10.

Good looking, sturdy gate
This gate is very nice looking as compared to other "cheap" plastic gates. It's easy to assemble and is pretty sturdy as well. It's holding my 12 week old Golden "in" nicely but the idea is that it'll continue to be sufficient for when he's full grown. I'm pretty confident that it will work fine. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wish it was built such that the door would swing open both ways. I purchased another matching exanding gate that fits in a standard doorway and the door on that swings both ways. It's more convenient to use that way.

A Quality Product
The barrier arrived in good condition and was easy to assemble. The gate latches securely and works freely. The barrier is very stable and has a nice finish, it is a good value for the money.

Just what I needed

fantastic, quality product
With frontgate you always get a little more for your money. Granted the items may cost a little more, but the quality just can't be beat. Buying some items of lower quality only costs you in the long run by having to either throw it away or replace them. With this particular item for our pets it has already paid for itself as we installed new carpet and this barrier keeps our pets away and our carpet new. It's heavy and withstands anything a dog can think to do to it. I would tell anyone about this product. Worth every penny!!!

Best for small areas.
The color matched what I was looking for but it was not wide enough for area I was wanting it for and it didn't come with the easy door I was hoping for either. I would have liked it a little taller also. I do prefer this material to the wood material and all the other colors out there for purchase.

peace of mind
Have large older dogs that love to come up main stair. Arthritis has made this difficult. needed a good looking deterrent easy for us to go through. This is perfect. Looks great, reasonable price compared to competitors, just what we needed. Another frontgate homerun.

Beautiful gate!
We actually purchased this to keep our crawling baby away from the big screen TV and electronics. It's the perfect height to not interfere with viewing the screen, the look is beautiful and matches our decor, the gate is sturdy enough to do the intended job (not really being used as a safety gate except to keep some electronics safe, not our baby), would work very well for small pets. Extremely happy with our purchase!

iron barrier
This is a well made gate.
The iron work is very nice.
They are heavy and are made of quality material. We have new puppies. So far they have held them in a specific area. We have 6 gates total. I am happy with the design.
They are elegant and work well with our home design. I would agree that they function well. They are simple to put together and move around, and they have weight to the gate sections to keep your pet from eating your home and chair legs!
The black paint does come off when you steam clean your floors daily. But it comes off easily.
We like the fact that you can change the length of each gate within a few seconds. And then change it back. Very sturdy.
A+ from our family. The only drawback is the cost for 6 gates! I wish they were half off!
