21" Gate
I wanted a gate that had a higher end look, not a plastic gate. The quality is great. The only negative I can think of is that the small doggy door doesn't open flat against the gate, it opens at 90 degrees.

Tension mount pet gate
Worked perfectly for what I needed to block puppies from going upstairs. Have metal staircase rail and blended in just right. Great quality, looks nice!

Beautiful pet gates
We bought both the 34 and 21 inch gates. We love them both. The only thing to be careful about it that the gates blend in so well with my dark hardwood floors that it's easy to over look them if you are walking around the house in dim lighting. I almost tripped over the 21 inch gate one night! These are really a great addition to our home.

Good Dog Gate
The quality of gate is very good. Easy to assemble. We needed something to keep our dog off the stairway and this was just perfect!

Pet Gate Works
The 21 inch pet gate works just like we wanted it to. We actually use it to keep the dog from going upstairs, so the door is not used.
Our main issue was a gate that would span the area completely. The adjustable ends make it easy to put in any size opening. The gate fits securely and is easy to step over.
It would be nice to have an option without the door.
It would be nice if the protective pads at the ends of the adjusting screws were thicker. We worried that when the screws were tightened down, the wall might be marked. We put a small pad on the end of each screw plate and that solved the issue.

Nice gate for small pets
On the plus side: (1) gate stays in place remarkably well, much better than other baby or pet gates that we have had, (2) looks nicer than other baby o pet gates that we have had, (3) our dogs have not, so far, tried to jump over it, although I suspect they could if they really wanted to, (4) it is not too difficult to step over.
Negatives: (1) The people in the house do have to step over the gate--I knew this when I bought it so it wasn't a surprise, but unless you want to take the gate up and down all the time, the people in the house will have to step over it. This is only and issue when my arms are full (e.g., carrying groceries). It doesn't bother me enough to send it back, but for someone who is unsteady on their feet it might not be the best choice.
