Beautiful gate, but... Some time ago I purchased two of these gorgeous gates for two wide doorways in our home. They are very good-looking, sturdy, and the quality is beyond compare. Just last week our 25 lb. Shih Tzu mix was able to climb over the gate and get out! It has happened twice since then and we are at a loss as to what to do now. He can use the mesh as a toe hold to get over! I had to take them down today because he has gotten his toenail caught in the mesh and it ( his nail) broke midpoint. So my point for the review is that if you have a smart dog or just one who doesn't want to be barred from somewhere, he or she just may be able to get over it. September 5, 2012

Gorgeous gate that adds to my decor This gate is like nothing you can find in any store. With a new puppy in the house and just putting in new carpet this is the most gorgeous gate I could have wished for to keep him confined to a section of the house until he is older. And it is not a eye sore like most gates. It is gorgeous and matches the decor of my home. And the construction of the gate is top notch. July 10, 2012
