Bonjour Coco Door Mat 4.6 5 34 36
Beautiful but sheds horribly Just as it looks online, great colors, matches my front door BUT it sheds all over my black marble entryway! Not real happy and it just seems to keep on shedding! April 18, 2014
The Happy Mat This is a charming, happy mat that is not only a dirt catcher, but a delightful way to welcome your guest. I cannot look at it without smiling. I haven't noticed any problems with shedding fibers. We recently received it so will have to see how the vibrant colors hold up to sunlight. April 15, 2014
Front Door Mat Great size for a large front door hearth. Very pleased with the color and the overall look of the mat. April 15, 2014
Bonjour Coco Mat Color is not as vibrant as in the on-line picture. However, it is still pretty, and it looks great on our front porch. April 15, 2014
Worst Purchase Ever I purchased this beautiful Bonjour Coco Door Mat - my husband is French so I thought it would be a cute way to greet our guests. It is the worst purchase ever! I am so disappointed that Frontgate would sell this item. I have never written a review before but this was such an awful product that I felt I had to warn future potential buyers. The mat sheds so much constantly with the little fibers that come off the mat, and they are being tracked into the house. I have to vacuum my home a few times daily to remove the tan colored strands that are brought into the house from the mat. The mat itself is covered with these strands to the point where the lovely decoration is almost not visible on top of the mat. And there is no way to clean these strands from the mat. I have tried everything including using a rake and a blower and a vacuum. It's a heavy mat and even trying to pick it up and shake them off doesn't work. What is the purpose of a door mat if it makes more dirt than without it. After 6 months of dealing with this I finally threw it in the trash. That purchase was the biggest waste of money. Do not buy this product. It is the worst. You'll regret it if you do. October 2, 2013
Love Love Love This mat came and I immediately put it on my front porch. Couldn't wait till spring. It was a great purchase and the quality is amazing. Thank you Frontgate. March 26, 2014
Housewife The colors on the mat are fading already and we have only had it about a week. So the beautiful mat lost its beauty very quickly. July 15, 2013
Nice This was a perfect gift for my French friend. She loves it. Well made. As with all of my Frontgate purchases, timely delivery and we'll packaged. October 17, 2013

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Frontgate. We recommend using the Bonjour Coco Door Mat in a covered area, if possible. The mat is made from natural fibers, and prolonged exposure to ice and snow will cause the fibers to deteriorate more quickly.
