Canadian Balsam Spruce Christmas Tree with FlipTree Stand & Storage Bag 3.1 5 8 8
So disappointed! I had a Frontgate artificial Christmas that I order about 9 years ago. We loved it. The branches were real looking and had pinecones. The abundance of lights were amazing. It was a tree that was breathtakingly beautiful without any decorations. After years of use it was a bit worn. So I just order the Frontgate Canadian Balsam artificial tree. The branches are made of a different material that does not look real. My old tree was full. This tree has sparse areas where you can see the middle pole. It is reminiscent of the trees I've seen on display in local stores -- that I had rejected. So disappointed that is our Christmas tree now. Frontgate, what happened? November 18, 2013
Terrible purchase I purchased this tree back in november. when I put it together it had a 15 degree slant that could not be fixed with any slight adjustment. I did call and have the tree returned. A new tree arrived 12/2/13 and it has the exact same problem. I had to put a block under the wheels to level out the tree. This tree should have arrived at least sitting straight up and down. seriously. where is the quality control. I can see slight issues like perhaps some branches falling off or a light not working. but for a tree to be literally 15% slanting when put together correctly, is wrong. December 3, 2013
Worst purchase ever. I received my first Canadian Balsam tree in early Nov. 2013. It arrived with 6/7 lite strands not working. The tree was returned to Frontgate. The second Canadian Balsam tree was received week of Nov 25TH. The plastic holding the strap by the FLIP connection was cracked, a lite wire at the top of the tree was cut & strands of lites at the top of the tree were not working. I am VERY VERY upset & disappointed with Frontgate. I will NEVER purchase another product from Frontgate. It makes for a very unhappy XMAS experience. Frontgate needs to check their products before shipping. November 28, 2013
Balsam Christmas tree Love the tree. First tree we received was defective-over half the lights would not work. Tried fuses, light bulbs, still did not work customer service was great. UPS brought us a new tree the same day they returned the first tree. New tree already decorated. The grandchildren love it. Also, purchased a nine foot garland for the mantel. Looks great November 6, 2013
The product has great style. The tree is beautiful and just as we hoped. It looks lovely when lit and decorated. Would recommend this tree if you have the space. December 13, 2013
Not a good purchase We received our tree and half of the lights would not work. For the price we paid, the tree should've been in mint condition and ready to be put up without any problems. November 27, 2013
Great Tree!! A little smaller than our last tree but very pretty! November 14, 2013
Review Very pretty tree. A little harder to set up than I thought it would be. October 22, 2013

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Frontgate. The tips on the tree are the parts protruding from the branch, from which you can hang ornaments.

The 7 1/2 ft. Canadian Balsam Tree in traditional stand weighs 67 lbs, and the Deluxe Fraser Tree in traditional stand weighs 90 lbs. It may be that you were comparing the weight of the Canadian Balsam Flip Tree against the Fraser Tree in traditional stand.

PVC Needles?

Does the interior of this tree contain PVC needles (the flat, fake, toilet brush looking needles found on cheaper trees)?

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Frontgate. The Canadian Balsam Spruce tree does have PVC tips as "filler" near the trunk of the tree. The ends of the tree branches have molded PE tips.
