Classic Wreath

A bit disappointed on how to "hang" it
Though the swag is pretty, there is no real way to fasten it to the window ledge...there is a ribbon, but where do you attach a ribbon on the outside of a screened window? Would have expected some sort of clips or velcro adhesive strips to fasten to the window sill. Have improvised and used duck tape, but it continues to fall into the bushes below the sill.

Window Swags
These swags are very attractive and we have been using them for years. The reason for the 3 star rating is because the lights tend to stop working and it has nothing to do with blown fuses.

Another good purchase
Another fine example of the quality you get from Frontgate. This swag is lovely.

Great window swag. I wish it was available in cordless also.

Great swags
Love these swags on my front windows. Bought the matching garland for porch railings a few years ago. Absolutely beautiful.

window swag
Love the holiday window swag! Was having trouble deciding what to put in 2 window boxes out front and these were the perfect answer. As usual, Frontgate high quality.

Replacement for failed wreath
I bought this wreath (but it was larger then) 2 years ago. Last year half of the lights went out and this year none of them worked. I tried everything - even bought that gun that detects the problem - hah! So when this went on sale, I bought it to replace the bad one. It is beautiful, even though it's smaller. So far, so good. Ask me next year.

Beautiful!
I am extremely pleased with the two Classic Window Swags I purchased! The greenery is realistic, and they look terrific outside, day or lit at night. The white lights are bright and the swags installed easily. I plugged them inside and had no problem whatsoever. Also, customer service at Frontgate is excellent.

Classic Window Swag
Purchased these. I have been looking for these for years. Best purchase I made

Looks fantastic!
We love the classic swag! We put it on both sides of our garage door and it looks fabulous. Looking at some of the other reviews, I'm not sure how long the lights will last, but until then we are enjoying them. I would definitely recommend this swag based on aesthetics and overall quality.

Beautiful decoration
I love this swag & so unique for use on windows. I bought 4 for the windows & it is so beautiful! The price & quality are exceptional!! I used to have 4 wreaths on each window & now the swags are so much nicer!

Beautiful BUT....
The wreath is gorgeous and the plug in on this version gives a much brighter light compared to the battery operated wreath. However, we have owned the wreath for about 15 days and already a section of the lights are out on it. Disappointing.

Wonderful Decoration
I had ordered a few of these last year to see what they would be like. I was so thrilled I ordered enough to finish off my windows. During the day they present a beautiful window decoration of greenery and at night they are gorgeous in all the windows. I do place an electric candle inside each window which just emphasizes the swags. Great item!

Good Quality Decoration
This is a good product with plenty of greenery and lights. A great addition to any home

Window swags
This produce could have been 4 inches longer to fit on a standard window. Over all it is well made and we will see how many years they hold up.

Looks pretty
Looks pretty, but very poorly assembled..Branches are just falling off while trying to fluff them. Very disappointed. Not worth the price.

Disappointing Quality
Last year purchaed two 9' sections of Classic garland. All was fine. This year, one 3' section of one of the garlands will not light. Impossible to find the bad bulb. On decorations purchased from other vendors, one bulb can burn out and the decoration will keep working. Not these!!! Beware!!!

Wonderful swag
This swag is of great quality for the price you pay and it look impressive outside our garage doors. Thanks you, Frontegate!

Delighted
Rich, lush and beautiful!! Frontgate is always dependable quality and this wreath and its matching garland is no exception. Feel confident in ordering this product.

More Beautiful in Person
I purchased 4 of the swags and received them yesterday. I opened the boxes & was amazed at how lovely they are, the picture does not do them justice! The are absolutely gorgeous in person! The berries are large and the color is perfect. They are lush and the accents stand out much more. Their is a traditional, old fashioned wide green satin ribbon for hanging. The size is perfect for my windows which are 36in wide. They Iook perfect on my home I have a large colonial and the size & amount of lights are just right! We love them and will definely order more.

NOT TYPICAL FRONTGATE QUALITY
Like other reviewers, I took out the garland for year #2 and the lights do not work. Frontgate typically has great quality with their Christmas decorations - unfortunately these garlands only lasted a season.

Classic Garland
Attached 2 garlands together and found that one did not light up. Discovered that the fuse had blown and was unable to open it to replace the fuse as it had completely melted. We now have to purchase another garland after only 1 season. Very disappointing given the price but also the work that it will entail to remove and replace it.

Lovey window swags!
Appearance is lush and realistic...and on sale, you cannot beat! Even if the lights burn out after one season (problem inherent to all prelighted greenery, even high end purchases) they will still look lovely with just a lighted candle in the window!

Dimensions are correct
2.5 feet is 30 inches if you do the math.
Love this window swag! Great purchase at a great price.

Beautiful teardrop swags
I just received two of the 3' teardrop swags and cannot wait to hang them! I previously ordered two of the 9' Classic garland strands to go around my front door three years ago and have not had any of the issues with lights burning out. They are so lush and have received SO many compliments, that the sale on the swags made the decision to purchase very easy. They should complete the lush look I have always wanted. I am hoping the lighting issues other reviews have mentioned are limited to the wreath(?) since my garland is in its third year, no problems and hope these gorgeous swags are problem free too.

Check the length
The dimensions of the classic window swag are listed as 30" long. However the dimensions listed on the invoice are 2.5 ft. Something needs to be updated, might not have made the purchase otherwise.

looks great.. but!!!
i just got seven 9ft garlands.. try connecting them to each other.. it only work for 10 mins till the fuse burns.
looks good but definitely annoying issues with lights

We have a total of seven 9 foot garlands purchased 4 years ago. Four have sections of lights out. However, we can't seem to figure out how to repair them. Some of the sections are in the middle of the garland while others are on the end with the plug. Since all of the remaining lights in the garlands work, it can't be the fuses. We can't find any broken lights. And, we can't seem to find out if the strands are continuious or not - there does not seem to be a connector between those sections out and those that are still on. What do you suggest we do?

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this item. When a strand of lights does not light, it is because a bulb is broken, missing or has come loose from the socket. We recommend checking to make sure none of the bulbs have become unseated from the socket, which would cause a break in the connection and results in the light strand going out. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.7 months ago

We appreciate your interest in this item. Unfortunately, all of the items in this collection include 6 ft cords. We apologize for any inconvenience.Answer:
No, they are not cordless...you run them in under your window sash. Window sash closes over both the ribbon you utilize to secure garland and the electrical cord without a problem.Length of Ownership: < 1 year

Battery operated lights or electric plug in?
This makes a difference as to where they can be placed. ie; must be near an electrical outlet or does not matter if battery operated.

I love the look of your outdoor greenery. How do I attach it to stone and stucco, I have no wood for nails. How can I make it work?

Answers
Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this item. To attach this wreath to stone or stucco, you would need to purchase the appropriate hardware from a local hardware or home improvement store. A representative there would be able to assist you in determining the correct hardware for your needs.Answer:
My landscaper put some nails into my stucco near the doorframe. They are not visible when greenery is taken down.Length of Ownership: 2-5 years
6 months ago
Answer:
That would certainly be a problem. For brick or stone, my spouse had drilled small holes in the mortar to secure the hanging nail, and as it is grey in color, it blends in on the off season no problem. I don't think that I would do that with my stucco as you would be altering the integrity of the stucco finish and might allow water to penetrate. I would suggest visiting the stucco vendor where it is purchased from and they may have fasteners available that may do the trick without harm.Length of Ownership: < 1 year
