Kids are jealous This isn't a dog bed, it's a mini sofa! Luckily it's big enough for our dog and a kid to snuggle on. A very nice, quality piece of furniture - not something you'd pick up in the pet store that will get mashed down with use. I can see us using this pet bed for many years. Clarification I bought the medium comfy couch and the quality is wonderful, however the bumpers make the couch a little narrower than I expected. I would recomend you buy a larger size if your dog is at the higher weight range. March 9, 2012

Perfect bed! This bed should speak for itself with the number of positive reviews---here I am, writing another to try to help you make your decision on spending so much $$ on a dog bed. :-) Our dog was completely used to sleeping on her own chair in the livingroom, we were getting new furniture and I was going to do everything possible to put an immediate end to that---sorry Ginger, no couch for you. Everyone thought I was nuts and it would never work. I ordered this bed in sage green, put it aside until the new furn. came---when it did, I introduced her bed---a few "no's" and re-direction when she tried to get on the sofa and voila!!!! SHE LOVES HER BED!!! She curls up and looks so comfy and quite often runs to her bed. Needless to say, it worked---the quality and comfort is wonderful. #1 DOG BED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bought this for my 55 lb. Vizsla, Kooper who is 4 years old. We're at work all day and he does not go on furniture/beds so he needed a place of this own. We had some cheap beds that are flat. We bought this took it out of the box and he went right in and would not get out! He just LOVES this bed. No matter where I put it in the house he'll sleep there even overnight by himself which is a 1st. I got the X-Large to give stretch out room. Great For Large Dogs Too I purchased 2 of these for my Great Dane Duke and he LOVES both of them. I also babysit my Grandog a Victorian Bull and now have purchased 2 for him also. My dog loves it! My dog loves her comfy couch pet bed. The material is super soft and very plush. It is so convenient to be able to unzip the fabric and machine wash. It is very easy to reassemble after washing. I have washed it several times and the pillow looks brand new each time. The color does not fade with the washes. I purchased the pet bed in Pomegranate. Our Dogs Fight Over Who Gets the Bed! We just purchased our 5th Comfy Couch Pet Bed. Yes.....I said 5th! Our 2-year-old white Labrador Retriever has one in our master bedroom (so she stays off our bed)!! And then our daughters each have a German Shepherd Mix - each one has a bed in their bedrooms. We have one (that the dogs fight over) in our home office and one in our family room. Spoiled dogs! All of the dogs sleep so soundly and look so cozy. Super Comfy Pet Bed - Super Happy Pet! Our dog has never been allowed on the furniture, and we haven't had a bed for him in the house. We replaced our carpeted floors with hardwood, and decided we needed a place for him to rest when he is in the house. He LOVES this bed! It was immediate, and he jumps right in the moment he is in the house. The removable pad is super soft, and bolster gives him something to cuddle into, vs. a pad bed, and he just drifts off to sleep. The bonus is it's beautiful and the monogramed pillow is cute. Best investment I could have made for the old guy. February 11, 2012

Happy pooches Great dog beds. I unpacked the boxes on the porch, so the dogs were waiting inside the door, listening to the noise. I could barely get the first bed in the door before 80lb Maxwell was climbing in it. My 14 yo granny lab loves it, too, as it gives her lots of support as well as a squishy bolster. High Quality Bed I purchased the large Comfy Couch Pet Bed for my 90-pound Labradoodle. First I could not get him to go on it and then I couldn't get him to get out of it! However, it was really too small for his tall body, so I had to return it and am waiting for an extra large bed to arrive. The bed was very well made and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to pamper her dog with a people-type bed. Comfy Couch Pet Bed I was hesitant to spend this much on a dog bed without actually seeing it first. I wanted to really treat my two Toy Poodles. I chose the large bed because they like resting together without actually touching each other. I guess that's a Poodle thing. I was thrilled upon opening the box. The Comfy Couch Pet Bed is REALLY NICE. Well-constructed out of quality materials. I am very happy I spent the dollars. My only other comment would be that I wish I'd inserted the two extra spaces in the personalized pillow. I asked for "The Kids". The way the pillow is constructed, the space between The and Kids is barely noticeable. I would recommend this bed to anyone. Joan February 9, 2012

mixed review pros - Well made, looks attractive, seems comfortable to ME. However..... Cons - My dogs will not sleep in it!! They have the choice of the real couch and their old dogs beds. Both dogs (labs) have slept in it once, maybe twice....but not again. The removable pillow part is a rectangle, and it only fits in the oval with compressing the edges to fit...thereby leaving an uneven bottom--way too high and soft on the sides and lower in middle when they get in. Problem - I, personally, think that the pillowy bottom part is WAY to soft and overstuffed (in addition to the wrong shape) ..so when my labs try and walk on it to get into the bed, it depresses way too much and is difficult for them to get into it (it seems to hurt one of my dogs paws because the filling GIVES WAY TOO MUCH and pushed his paw upwards too much). When they were in it, it did seem TOO soft and had almost a hammocky effect on their spine. Frontgate - the removable pillow SHOULD be the same shape as the bed, NOT tuffted, and of a much much denser material like a foam/couch (much like the very bottom little layer is). February 7, 2012

Larger than expecte..Arrived late My dog loves it. Pillow is cute but my dog ate the pillow immediately (could be better reinforced as most dogs use it as a toy) The size reccommendation for my dogs weight was a large-it is too big. Dixie couldn't be happier Our 55-pound lab mix loves curling up against soft things, and the comfy pet couch is perfect for her. I have never seen a dog take to a new bed like Dixie did to this one. We had barely gotten it out of the packaging and onto the floor when she stepped in without hesitation and curled right up. It has become her favorite place to lie, even with plenty of spots to choose from. She even prefers it over the human bed! I cannot comment on durability or long-term quality yet, but the pomegranate looks fabulous and Dixie loves it. What else could we ask for in a dog bed? February 2, 2012

The Best Pet Bed Ever!!! I searched online for hours this Christmas trying to find the perfect pet bed for our English Bulldog. I nailed it with the Comfy Pet Couch! He loves it and so do we! It's literally so comfy that I could fall asleep and take a nap in it. Not to mention we bought the XL so it's certainly big enough! The price is steep but worth every penny. For the past year, while our pup was still a baby, we’ve been buying cheap dog beds from local pet stores and replacing them frequently. Those beds were total eye sores. good & bad I received my pet bed and absolutely loved it! The color was awesome, but being very excited to put the monogrammed pillow on the bed I pulled it out of the box & no monogram. Beautiful and Comfy I recenlty purchased three of these beds for my dogs. I just received a new puppy as a special anniversay gift. So, it looks like I'll probably have to order another once he gets a little bigger. This item is top quality, beautiful to look at and apparently very comfy for my dogs.
