I bought this bed for my son's dog and she hopped right into it from the moment she saw it . The medium size was perfect for a 40 pound dog. I was impressed with the material and washability.
After seeing how much my son's dog loved her bed, I ordered a size small for his partner's 20 lb. dog and she too loves it.

Read detail carefully
It was my own fault for not reading the product information detail carefully enough. I saw "washable" and made the purchase. It's a nice big bed for my two mini doxies but it makes no sense that the cushion on which the dogs lay is washable ONLY IN A FRONT LOADING MACHINE. Therefore, I have to take it to the laundromat at $10 a pop. Why make the outside cover zippered and not the cushion??? Makes no sense to me. Having to wash the entire cushion is going to make the inside of the cushion deteriorate quite quickly I suppose.

Fabulous
We have had our bed for three years now (medium) and our 40 lb English Springer has loved it from the first day it arrived. It has held up very well over the three years and she even chews on the cushion some, but so far it has not ripped. I'll buy again if this one ever wears out. Our dog loves to curl up in it and the medium is too small for her to stretch out. However, she will stretch out with half in half out, which is quite amusing to look at.

Saved our relationship with our dog!
This bed truly saved our relationship with our dog. Prior to this, we came home every day and scolded him for being on the sofa. We bought new bed after new bed and he still snuck onto the couch when we were gone. We realized that he wanted to push/lean up against the back of the couch and this bed had a back so we gave it a shot. It also matches our sofa so it looks like a mini-sofa of his own. He LOVES this bed. He should model for it as he takes the mattress in it and makes it a blanket, a pillow, folds it in half, bunches it up, etc.- he has unlimited configurations he makes out of it and he is soooo happy with this bed. He rests his head on the side/back to ease his neck strain and most of all he loves to push himself on the back of the bed for that support (he's a leaning/snuggly pit bull/boxer). He went on the couch once maybe twice after this but not again in a very long time. I look at this bed all the time and am so thankful you made it and we found it!

Amazing product
This doggy bed is worth every penny, and then some. I have never seen my german shepherd happier. The second I placed it on the floor, she hopped into it and cuddled up with a big sigh of contentment. She slept in it all night. I debated purchasing this for quite a while as it is a bit pricey. However, if you love your babies as much as I do mine, don't hesitate. This is an amazing pet bed that is absolutely beautiful aesthetically (color, size, design) and looks as if my dog is sleeping on a cloud. A perfect pet bed for your perfect pet :)

Excellent dog bed
We shopped around for some time and finally found the perfect bed for Jade. Perfect balance of support and comfort on this one. Jade is a 15 pound terrier/beagle mix who sleeps in a curled up position. She fits well in the small size bed. I had to get the monogrammed pillow but there is not enough room in the bed for it.

Wonderful!!
I have an older dog who was having trouble getting up and down from her previous bed. She would wince or whine every time. It was heartbreaking. She LOVES this bed. She gets in and out with ease. It was a fantastic purchase!

Great Dog Bed
My dog loves his Comfy Couch. It's actually become hard to get him up in the morning, because he doesn't want to leave it. Very sturdy and soft construction.
I highly recommend - I wish our couch was this nice!

From Cage to Comfort
I got my Jack Russell from a shelter. Her life had not been pleasant: she was kept in a cage constantly for three years by her former owners, then transferred to a shelter.
She loves this bed. She lies there with half closed eyes, her head on the bolster looking like she had never been happier. It makes me happy to see her finally enjoying life.

Elegant & Comfy
Got my pet bed or should I say "recliner" today....Oh, I love it!
I have a 7lb Maltese and he loves it. It's way to big for him, but he's worth it. He can sit on one end and I can sit on the other:)
I got the pomegranate with the ivory bone w/monogram...love it!!
I recommend this bed to any type of dog.

Needs to come bigger!
Received the XL comfy pet couch today in chocolate. It is beautiful, seems to be well made but I am disappointed in how small the XL is! I know the dimensions are given, we ordered it knowing our Great Dane puppy will likely only last in this bed up to a year (if that). I really wish the XL was actually an XXL and could accommodate a dog who will be much larger than 100 lbs (his father is just shy of 200 lbs). Love the quality, don't love the size cut off. Please offer more options in the XXL size!:)

Comfy Couch
I had been looking for a bed for my dog for a long time but nothing at the pet stores was impressive. My dog LOVES her new bed. She has even stopped trying to get in my bed because it is so comfortable. She is adorable with her head resting on the arm of the bed. I would definitely recommend this bed!

Hallelujah!!
We purchased two of these beds hoping they would get our Yorkies out of our bed. I read all the other great reviews and thought this may just be the ticket. These beds are fantastic. The quality is high and most importantly our dogs love them. I wish I could say they went right to them, but it did take us placing them in the bed the first night (more than once), however they now go right to them and most importantly, we have our bed back! I would highly recommend these beds and like another reviewer stated we ordered the next size up. It gives the dogs plenty of room. I would recommend anyone doing the same.

As advertised
This bed is extra springy. At first my older retriever didn't know what to do about this. Her former bed was just sheepskin over thin foam. She turned and turned. Now she has figured it out, and is not afraid.
Even though she is only 60 #, The large size bed is not quite big enough. She would have been happier in the max size. The pillow is cute, but useless.

Dog loves his bed
This bed is plush, and it looks great! Remember to take into account that the thick bolster around the sides takes up a lot of the space of the total dimensions of the bed. Our dog does have to curl up a bit to fit himself into the interior space of the bed. I probably should have ordered the next bigger size, but he still loves it.

Disappointing Bed
After only a couple weeks the cushion already has a hole in the fabric and the bolsters are beginning to squish.
We have greyhounds that have never had a problem with fabric on any bed before.
I purchased a size Large based on weight and it is plenty small for the dogs. Fortunately greyhounds fold up small when they want to.

Incredible
This is an incredible bed for your dog. It looks comfy enough for me to get in and sleep in it! My dog loves it. He has used it for over two years and I decided we needed two in the house now. Everything is washable. I just throw the covers in the washer. Finally a dog bed that is not an eye soar in the house!!

Comfy couch pet bed
Great product and very durable. Our dog isn't the most gentle when it comes to "her" stuff. So far the furniture has stood up to her shaking the pillow around and the couch cushion has taken the digging she attempts to do from time to time.

Canine Comfy Couch
Slugger took to his new Cozy Little Sofa bed like a tick to a hunting hound. Though the perfect size for him it is so plush he seems to get swallowed by it and since he is now a senior I only hope it isn't TOO soft for his arthritic joints. But he sleeps peacefully for long naps in the afternoons, and we are thrilled that he loves it.

Dog Now Stays Off My Furniture
This purchase did EXACTLY as I hoped it would do - keep my spoiled pooch off of my bed and the couch. We had resorted to putting up tin foil on our furniture to keep her off, but I just hated coming home and seeing all that silver! Luckily, we now have a beautiful pet bed that matches our decor and appears very well made (I have also been able to toss the tin foil)! Our dog LOVES her new bed and spends much of her time snoozing in it. Thank you, Frontgate!!!

Creature Comforts
This is our 2nd Comfy Couch Sofa Bed purchase for our greyhound. We purchased one, put it in our bedroom as he preferred it over other beds he has. We found that we spent evenings alone in the living room, as our dog spent his time in that favorite bed of his. We finally broke down and bought another for the living room. It's so nice having our dog-boy spending evenings in the living room again!

Great Pet Bed
The comfy couch is a terrific pet bed, extremely comfortable and my dog loves the bolster to lean her head on. One suggestion though; it would have been more practical to have the inside removable pillow made with a zipper for easy washing as the outer part is.

Worth the Wait
My two five-month old Australian Shepherd puppies love their new comfy couches. From the moment I was unpacking them, they just knew that they were their very own. They immediately jumped into the couches to decide for themselves. They absolutely love them! We chose chocolate as our color choice, in the large size (for room to grow), and we love the design. There's no other pet sofa out there that is made as well as this one--trust me I searched because we had to wait 2 months to get them due to their popularity. Well worth the wait!!

A good one
I have one of these dog beds in my office and just got another for the bedroom. The dogs love it. The first one is two years old and still looks brand new. I have two Cavaliers, together they are a perfect fit in the medium.

Comfy Couch Pet Bed
I love this pet bed, as well as my dogs. They immediately curled up in it together. I have a Golden Retriever/Great Dane mix and a Beagle. I purchased the largest size. It was a little more money than I wanted to spend but the quality is excellent. I have not yet tried to wash it but it looks like it would be easy to wash.

I purchased the Comfy Couch Pet Bed approximately 2 years ago. The cushion now has has an odor. I do not have a removable cover and there are no zippers on the cushion. Do you sell cushions separately? If not, can I wash the cushion with the foam?

It depends, some puppies prefer chewing harder things to get rid of the pain or discomfort of teething. If you believe your dog is biting pillows, clothes, and other softer stuff, then I would wait until he gets a little bigger, and doesn't have the necessity to chew. Also buy him chewing toys that will distract him from chewing other things (they are made of a soft plastic that won't be easy to break, so it's safe) This bed is very durable (resistant & the fabric doesn't get ugly or the color doesn't fade with time), but can be sensitive for your situation. Puppy teeth are usually very sharp and can easily tear this bed. Another option is to buy it, and if you see him interested in chewing the bed, take it away, and store it for later. Finally, some dogs usually, do not destroy their OWN bed, because they know is where they sleep and rest! Overall I do recommend this bed for any dog!! Totally worth it!3 months, 3 weeks ago

You would have to contact Frontgate via phone. They are extremely nice, I think they can have a solution for you. However, since it has been over a year, I found it difficult that they will send you a new one. However, you can go to the product link and maybe order the Nano-Tex Cover for Comfy Couch, it's just a cover for the original piece (pillow) in the couch.The zipper is no big issue you can also go to a local dressmaker, and have them fix it for you maybe with a new zipper.4 months ago

When I did this I started with the bottom tube. I put that in, then the top one and then the base of the bed. It seemed to work well. I'm pretty sure you can put it back any way you choose. The tubes are different sizes, just make sure to put the right one in the right place.4 months, 3 weeks ago
