missing cushion
My dog would probably give this review a 5, but I couldn't because after having it a couple of weeks I noticed it was missing a cushion which helps to provide support and comfort. It's located at the bottom of the bed if you flip it upside-down. I'm glad I noticed because the bed would probably hold its shape better if it was there. I will say that other than the missing cushion the bed is very well made and my dogs do love it. I'm still waiting for the missing part.

dog bed runs small
I purchased the small dog bed designed to hold dogs up to 25 lbs. I have a beagle that is small-boned that weighs 21-22 lbs. It is a small fit for her. if you have a dog that borders on the high end of the 25 lb. guideline I would order up a size. I got the hazelnut and it is a true taupe-beige. Nice quality on the fabric. The free personalized bone pillow that came with the bed seems to be one size fits all which is not true. It is almost as wide as the bed itself and could not be used with the bed as it took up too much space. It is clearly sized to go with the larger beds.

Comfy Pet Couch
Quality is excellent but I have a 65 lb Golden Retreiver and he barely fits in the large. I wish I had ordered the extra large so go one size up.

Disappointed
Overall the bed seemed fine, except for the removable cushion. It was much smaller than the space available. Almost as if a cushion sized for the "Small" bed was placed in the "Medium" bed I ordered. It created an open space around the cushion where my pet may get her paw caught.

Great Christmas Gift!
The cozy pet sofa is perfect for Willie our golden retriever. He curls up, snuggles and sometimes his head is on the arm of the sofa - too cute. Santa came early and Willie is very happy!

My Collie loves it!
This has been the best dog bed that I have seen on the market...and I had been looking for a long time. I have a 9 year old rough collie that loves his new bed; it is very soft but tough enough to handle his chewing!

Comfy Pet Couch
Our Dobbie loves this Comfy Pet Couch. Given the choice of our bed or his, he goes straight to his bed. Very well made and durable. Aden has eaten many beds before so far not even a nibble on this one.

Dog's Love It
I purchased 2 comfy pet couches, one XL and one M. Both my dogs fell in love with their new beds immediately! They absolutely curl up and get lost in the soft, plush bed! And, these beds look great in our bedroom! No more cheap, mismatched doggie beds! These add a nice, sophisticated look to any room!

First Purchase

Happy Labrador Retriever
My black labrador retriever has three dog beds throughout the house -- some of them very worn. While reading USA Today, I came across the Frontgage advertisement for the comfy pet couch and matching monogrammed pillow. Ordering on line was a breeze, and delivery (even for the monogrammed pillow) was fast. Our dog is in heaven. The bed is thick and comfy, and the dark brown fabric wears well. We have one happy dog! small
I purchased this bed for my 2 dogs, one is 13lbs the other 35lbs. The description states the medium is good for dogs up to 45lbs. The little one loves the bed but the larger dog has a hard time getting comfy. I suggest getting the larger size then suggested.

Watch Dog Lost to "Comfy Pet Couch"
Our Golden Retriever used to be a great watch dog, constantly on guard. Since we received the Comfy Pet Couch she sleeps so soundly that I fear her guard dog days are over. This is a great product.

I purchased this pet couch for one of my 3 dogs. I will definately have to purchase 2 more because they all want to lounge in it! It does come with a gorgeous monogrammed bone-shaped pillow too. Beautiful product, but pricey.

Comfy Pet Couch
My puppy is a 20 lb Tibetan Terrier and she was in love with this couch from the moment I took it out of the box. She loves to sit in it and knows that it belongs to her. In fact, she always used to jump up on our couch and I had a hard time teaching her not to do that. Now I keep her couch in the den with us, and it has helped trememndously. Now she knows that the couch is hers and she rests there instead of jumping on us and our couch.
It is made of excellent fabric and is durable. I strongly recommend thic couch for any puppy or dog owner. It is worth the money even in its simple aesthetic beauty with the monogrammed bone pillow!

Doggie bed
I bought 2 beds for our dogs, and they are fine, but I was disappointed that the cover doesn't come off of the most important part, the main cushion. The whole cushion can be washed, but we haven't tried to wash it yet. The rest of the bed can be unzipped to wash the cover.

I purchased the Comfy Couch Pet Bed approximately 2 years ago. The cushion now has has an odor. I do not have a removable cover and there are no zippers on the cushion. Do you sell cushions separately? If not, can I wash the cushion with the foam?

It depends, some puppies prefer chewing harder things to get rid of the pain or discomfort of teething. If you believe your dog is biting pillows, clothes, and other softer stuff, then I would wait until he gets a little bigger, and doesn't have the necessity to chew. Also buy him chewing toys that will distract him from chewing other things (they are made of a soft plastic that won't be easy to break, so it's safe) This bed is very durable (resistant & the fabric doesn't get ugly or the color doesn't fade with time), but can be sensitive for your situation. Puppy teeth are usually very sharp and can easily tear this bed. Another option is to buy it, and if you see him interested in chewing the bed, take it away, and store it for later. Finally, some dogs usually, do not destroy their OWN bed, because they know is where they sleep and rest! Overall I do recommend this bed for any dog!! Totally worth it!3 months, 3 weeks ago

You would have to contact Frontgate via phone. They are extremely nice, I think they can have a solution for you. However, since it has been over a year, I found it difficult that they will send you a new one. However, you can go to the product link and maybe order the Nano-Tex Cover for Comfy Couch, it's just a cover for the original piece (pillow) in the couch.The zipper is no big issue you can also go to a local dressmaker, and have them fix it for you maybe with a new zipper.4 months ago

When I did this I started with the bottom tube. I put that in, then the top one and then the base of the bed. It seemed to work well. I'm pretty sure you can put it back any way you choose. The tubes are different sizes, just make sure to put the right one in the right place.4 months, 3 weeks ago
