Not Up to Standards
My dog shredded the free bone in about 5 minutes. The couch itself isn't comfortable enough to coax my dog off our couch - but he likes it well enough. Disappointed in the construction - if dog leads in to it, it doesn't hold form.

great beds
I bought two of these for my dogs. It has great workmanship, my lab won't leave the bed. Loves it. Doesn't have that dumb fleece that falls off all of the other beds on the market. The pillow is silly though. Could go without that. It is high off the ground, more so than I thought. Is is pretty fluffy.

Best Dog Bed Ever
This bed was recommended by one of ours friends and is the best dog bed ever. Our 5 year old lab has slept on our bed & couch since she was a puppy. Since the first night we got the Comfy Pet Couch she has not been on the bed or couch. We can't get her out of the Comfy Pet Couch.

Comfy
I bought this bed for my 2 year old Goldendoodle. She made herself comfortable as soon as it was unpacked and melted right into it. It's so comfy every family member has curled up in it with her.Even though she's only 60 lbs I bought the xlarge, she has long legs and like to stretch out. It fits her perfectly. The quality of the bed is top notch and very nice looking. There are plenty of dog beds out there, but none of them are as beautiful as this one. Be careful you might want one for yourself!

My cat is jealous
We love this bed! As we brought it to her room, our dog tried to get in it before we set it down. Every night she goes straight to her bed and curls up with her face in the bolster or under the pillow and in the morning she slowly slides out and groans because she has to get up. She loves it! It's the only thing she won't share with our cat.
Fast delivery, within a couple days, and washes easily and it looks wonderful no matter what room it is in. Best bed we've seen for the price, cheaper and better quality than others like it anywhere else.

Most luxurious dog bed
This is the most luxurious dog bed ever!!!! My boxer who is over 100 lbs is completely in love with his new dog bed he received for Christmas!! Everyone who sees it declares him the most spoiled dog ever!! Looks wonderful in the family room!! When we can't find Rocky we look in the bed and there he is!!!! He loves it!!

Perfect!!!
I barely had it out the box when my dog jumped on , curled up and fell asleep. Very well made and looks great. My only suggestion is to get a size larger than what the web site describes. My dog is only 35 pounds and the medium bed was too small. I returned and got the large.

Comfy Pet Couch an excellent investment
I bought two of these for our Shiba Inu/Norwegian Elkhound dogs. We spoil them and they've gotten used to sleeping on our bed and couches. I wanted something they would be equally comfortable in and keep them off our furniture. The Comfy Pet Couches fit the bill perfectly. They look great and our dogs love them. Initially I thought the price was a little high but after shopping around these turned out to be a great buy. We've only had them a few weeks so I can't comment on durability yet but they seem very high quality. I ordered them Christmas week and they arrived before Christmas. Great customer service on a great product!

Who loves it more?
I bought the pet couch because our sweet lab is getting up there in age and deserves a little more comfort, so I found it a little strange to see my husband on the pet couch and my dog on the people couch. When I asked my husband about it, he replied, "hey, this is a really comfy bed!".

My dogs fight over it
This bed truly is five star quality. They really thought it through when they designed it. The cover is easily removed for washing. Both of my dogs love it so much, I had to buy a second one!

Excellent & Well Made Pet Bed (Couch)
Rocky is now four years old. So purchasing beds for him is something I have become proficient more by default that by planning. What you usually find in commercial stores is comparable in price, yet far in comparison when in to quality and durability. In most brands the flimsiness of the padding was always my biggest complain. Once he slept on it for a few moths that was the end of the bed, especially if you washed the cover; the bed would become distorted and loose its shape. There is no comparison with the Comfy Bed Couch. Rocky is a medium size dog and barely makes a dent in the padding when inside the bed. He loves it and sleeps like and angel. I wish I could include a picture!

Fit for a human
This is the most comfy bed and cover our dog has ever had. It is well made and durable and our dog wants to be in it all day long. He is quite the spoiled pooch with 3 different beds, but he always chooses this one to sleep on.

The picture of the Comfy Couch Dog Bed in the advertisement looked good, so we thought we'd try it. It is AWESOME. Our 60# Boxer, Maggie, only gets out of it to eat or go outside!!! It is the best, durable bed we've ever bought.

excellent dog bed
The bed is great. SO good that we had to buy another one to keep the peace !! We have four dogs and they love it. The bolester around the top seems to make them feel very secure . Washes well and looks good too

Doggy Heaven
My husband and I purchased this for Turbo, our femal husky/shepherd mix. She's 70 lbs. and the dog bed we had for her was very flimsy. She is one who sometimes likes to curl up and sometimes likes to stretch out, as well as rest her head on pillows. This bed allows her to do it all! She loves it and so do we. We've only had it since Christmas so I can't comment on durability, but I'm hoping to have it for a long time to come.

Did not last
Bought this for my 80 lb lab and he loved it for about 6-8 months, until the middle lost it's loft and he was sleeping with almost no padding. The overall quality is great, just the middle did not hold up. I ended up having to get a lifted canvas bed to put under it taking pressure off of his hips so he would use it again. Wish it had lasted! He really loves the bolsters. Giving it two stars because he loved it, but it is pretty expensive to not hold up.

Beautiful Quality!
I was very pleased to add this dog bed to our recently remodeled master bedroom. I had been searching for a bed to match the decor for some time, and this one definitely matches our look. The quality is exceptional and it gives the pet bed an elevated look with the upholstery choice. Our dog loved it from the minute she saw it, and I often find her lounging away in it.

Wish they made one in human size!
This bed is just fantastic. It is extremely soft, plush, and comfortable. Our second rescue dog actually came with one of these (her previous owner had bought it for her) and our older dog was always trying to lay in it. They would even try to curl up in it together! Seeing how much they both loved it made us get another one, and I'm so glad they did! The covers are a beautiful rich color and the dogs love to sleep in them at night (even the older one who was used to sleeping in *our* bed!)
Taking the bed apart for washing can seem daunting, but once you do it once, you see how easy it really is. All of the parts are removeable so you end up with a cover, two bolsters, the pillow, and the bottom padding, making all the parts easy to wash in the event of accidents or just to refresh your house.
I absolutely love these beds and they are worth ever penny. The personalized bone pillows are like the icing on the cupcake, and my pups even use them as a real pillow (after the older one initially tried to use it as a chew toy!)

I purchased the Comfy Couch Pet Bed approximately 2 years ago. The cushion now has has an odor. I do not have a removable cover and there are no zippers on the cushion. Do you sell cushions separately? If not, can I wash the cushion with the foam?

It depends, some puppies prefer chewing harder things to get rid of the pain or discomfort of teething. If you believe your dog is biting pillows, clothes, and other softer stuff, then I would wait until he gets a little bigger, and doesn't have the necessity to chew. Also buy him chewing toys that will distract him from chewing other things (they are made of a soft plastic that won't be easy to break, so it's safe) This bed is very durable (resistant & the fabric doesn't get ugly or the color doesn't fade with time), but can be sensitive for your situation. Puppy teeth are usually very sharp and can easily tear this bed. Another option is to buy it, and if you see him interested in chewing the bed, take it away, and store it for later. Finally, some dogs usually, do not destroy their OWN bed, because they know is where they sleep and rest! Overall I do recommend this bed for any dog!! Totally worth it!3 months, 3 weeks ago

You would have to contact Frontgate via phone. They are extremely nice, I think they can have a solution for you. However, since it has been over a year, I found it difficult that they will send you a new one. However, you can go to the product link and maybe order the Nano-Tex Cover for Comfy Couch, it's just a cover for the original piece (pillow) in the couch.The zipper is no big issue you can also go to a local dressmaker, and have them fix it for you maybe with a new zipper.4 months ago
