Doggy Heaven My husband and I purchased this for Turbo, our femal husky/shepherd mix. She's 70 lbs. and the dog bed we had for her was very flimsy. She is one who sometimes likes to curl up and sometimes likes to stretch out, as well as rest her head on pillows. This bed allows her to do it all! She loves it and so do we. We've only had it since Christmas so I can't comment on durability, but I'm hoping to have it for a long time to come. January 3, 2012

Did not last Bought this for my 80 lb lab and he loved it for about 6-8 months, until the middle lost it's loft and he was sleeping with almost no padding. The overall quality is great, just the middle did not hold up. I ended up having to get a lifted canvas bed to put under it taking pressure off of his hips so he would use it again. Wish it had lasted! He really loves the bolsters. Giving it two stars because he loved it, but it is pretty expensive to not hold up. January 2, 2012

Wish they made one in human size! This bed is just fantastic. It is extremely soft, plush, and comfortable. Our second rescue dog actually came with one of these (her previous owner had bought it for her) and our older dog was always trying to lay in it. They would even try to curl up in it together! Seeing how much they both loved it made us get another one, and I'm so glad they did! The covers are a beautiful rich color and the dogs love to sleep in them at night (even the older one who was used to sleeping in *our* bed!) Taking the bed apart for washing can seem daunting, but once you do it once, you see how easy it really is. All of the parts are removeable so you end up with a cover, two bolsters, the pillow, and the bottom padding, making all the parts easy to wash in the event of accidents or just to refresh your house. I absolutely love these beds and they are worth ever penny. The personalized bone pillows are like the icing on the cupcake, and my pups even use them as a real pillow (after the older one initially tried to use it as a chew toy!) January 1, 2012

Perfect & Excellent I bought this for my daughter's dog...the bone pillow was an extra "plus". I could not believe the quality and construction of this dog bed. Best Purchase Ever I had just made my first Frontgate purchase of Christmas trees and never expected to find the best dog bed ever! All 4 of our dogs ranging from 5 to 75 pounds clearly LOVE this bed. It has kept its original shape and looks as good a new despite all the traffic it gets. He loves it! I purchased the couch for our 15-year-old Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu mix. I was a little worried that Jake might have some difficulty climbing up in the couch since he's small and getting older, but he gets in and out just fine and he loves it! Best dog bed ever! I have been looking for an excellent quality/value bolster style dog bed for our 60lb lab for over a year now. Our dog loves to roll over and sleep on her back. So many times during the night she will scratch the wall with her claws rolling over in her plain matress style dog bed. I looked at many beds in the big pet supply stores but nothing seemed worth the money, cheap cloth, not removable, etc. This bed is perfect! it has durable soft cloth covers that are zipped onto the bed. The inside part of the couch has it's own zippered cover too. The boulsters are nice and high so when she rolls there is no scratching! My dog loves this bed, she curls right up in it and can roll and stretch. I bought the large and it's just right for her. It your dog is any bigger I would go with the next size up. Another bonus, it looks great in my bedroom. It's like a piece of furniture, not a yucky dog bed. Definately a great value for the price. This bed will last for years. December 29, 2011

Fabulous bed This is the second of these beds I've purchased for my Schipperkes (medium). They seem near indestructible (one of my babies loves to chew on and remove stuffing from other bolster beds). The bed, itself, has a removable pillow, which is stuffed tightly inside the bolsters, keeping it somewhat protected. The bed washes well (I do rescue, so they get marked from time to time) as the foam base comes out and the bed pillow comes out, so that each can be washed separately. To be honest, I love the bone pillows, but my guys would tear them to shreds, so, instead of a name, I've simply had MINE embroidered on these. This way there are no arguments (LOL!). I have 3 geriatric pups, so I will be buying a 3rd one soon, as they really appreciate the comfort and protection from cold floors, especially in the winter. December 29, 2011

A dog's life Max received this bed for Christmas. I have friends that have this bed for their pet. Everytime Max and I would go visisiting, Max would immediately go and make himself at home. The bed provides support for his body as well as the pillows to prop his head on. It's great being able to unzip the cover and wash it. Easy off, easy on cover. love it Our rottweiler had been getting on the sofa at night since it has gotten colder. So we decided to splurge and get her this bed. She got in it right away. We got her a size large and there is plenty of room for her to stretch out. Great Bed for an Aging Dog I thought I might be a little crazy spending so much on a dog bed but I changed my mind once it arrived. My dog turned 11 this year and has been having a little trouble getting up and going in the morning these last few months. I thought her less than 2 year old bolster bed might not be giving her enough support. I felt it was time to get her a bed that was more appropriate for her age. I wanted something with extra cushion, that could be washed (she has been having some issues with leakage at night) and was hopefully more durable then her last. This bed is the one! At first she was a little hesitant to get in it, I think because it's so tall. However, after about 3 days she got use to it and really seems to like it. It has been easier for her to get up in the morning. I think the extra cushion has helped support her joints and reduced stiffness. Plus, the increased height on the bed has made it easier for her to get from a lying position to standing. Since she does have some problems with leakage I bought a waterproof liner from the store, wrapped her bed cushion in the lining and then purchased the cushion cover from Frontgate to go over it. Now her cushion is waterproof, comfortable and looks great! I definitely recommend this bed for an older dog! I'm very happy I made the purchase and so is Athena. December 28, 2011

Terrific Purchase! Our little Silky Terrier loves her new Comfy Couch bed. Our only critical comment is about the bone pillow, which appears to be the same size for all the bed sizes. It takes up too much space in the size small bed. Our dog now prefers her bed to ours! December 28, 2011

Our dogs NO longer sleep in our bed... phew!!!! Thank you Frontgate!!! Since the day this bed arrived on our doorstep, our Lab-Mix "Duke" and our Brussels Griffon "Chloe" no longer sleep in bed with my husband and I. Yay!!! I purchased the Large size and they snuggle very comfortably in it, as well as have room to stretch out. They total about 70 pounds. I think they love it because they feel cozy and the bolster allows them to lean into something. it was well worth the cost and the quality is great. Duke even loves to snuggle with the pillow... Pet bed My Golden Retriver has always slept on the couch. When I decided to purchase a new love seat, I knew it was time to get a dog bed. I was worried that I would have a battle keeping her off the couch. I placed it in front of the window. The next morning, I found her asleep, curled up in her new bed. happy dogs have two 90 lb dogs. got the extra large. dogs love them! they are apparently very comfortable. They go right to them each time we are in the room. Very plush I ordered a Medium in the hazelnut color for my small 10 lb dog, so she can have plenty of room to stretch out and she loves it, it is very plush, soft and nicer than any dog bed I have seen in stores. The color is gorgeous and goes well with our decor.I also caught my son using it for a gaming chair and he said its quite comfortable as well :), I'd say it is a great purchase and worth the money to have a quality bed that they want to sleep on. Quality Bed My brother (who purchased one of these beds for his dog) highly recommended this bed for my aging mid-sized dog, who is picky about, and yet tough on her beds. It is far superior to other beds I've seen or bought before. The plushness and support of the bed center and bolster area was perfect to alleviate my dog's pain brought on by my her arthritis. She took to the bed right away, and even buries her favorite toys under the pillow. Delivery was prompt, and the quality was beyond my expectations. I would recommend this product 100%.
