Cordless Tear Drop Swag

Beautiful Wreath!
Great wreath and being cordless is the ultimate find! Also, the lights are exquisite. Quite a bargain for the price.

Way below Frontgate standards
Looking for a few good cordless wreaths to complement the prelit wreaths I already own (and love) from Frontgate. Read the reviews and descriptions online and eagerly anticipated putting up the cordless wreaths for the holidays. Couldn't have been more disappointed with the results. The wreath itself is fairly average, but the LED lights are nothing short of pathetic. They don't even come close to matching the prelit wreaths and look sad in comparison. Also, the 24 hour timer was horribly off and seemed to come on earlier and earlier each night .. c'mon, my daughter's 5 dollar watch can keep time .. the technology is not that limiting. Overall, very disappointed with the purchase.

Superior product
This cordless wreath is absolutely fabolous. It has excellent capability of leaving the product lighted-on permanently or through an integrated timer allowing you to light-on the product on a certain time. The quality is great and the lights are extremely good for being a battery operated item. I bought two of them and we have received great compliments from all our neighbors!

Nice holiday wreath
Full and lush, works with 2 D batteries - no cords!
Looks great and compliements the lighted garland around the doorframe.
Very nice product!

Cordless wreath
Very attractive as wreath during the day, with excellent build quality. However, the lights are noticeably dim, most probably due to the fact that it runs on batteries. While this wireless feature makes it convenient (on my outdoors entry gate), the lights are much dimmer than on the wired garland which is located next to it on the handrail.
I'll consider buying another garland or other wired lights in the future but am not likely to buy another cordless wreath.

Disappointed
Although the appearance and size of this wreath was great, we've had a problem with the lights timer. The timer isn't working on a 24-hour day cycle. It looses around 15 to 20 minutes every day. We were gone for 10 days, and the wreath lights were coming on at 2:30 PM when we got home.

Wreaths Attractive, but...
Wreaths are attractive....lights are somewhat dim...
also having trouble with one of our of four wreaths - in the timer mode, on-time is not consistent...(does not come on at same time as the other three, seems to get later every day)
January 4, 2013
well made product
The battery operated wreath just didn't have the brightness that an electric wreath offers. The auto timer kept going off which could have been due to the wind causing it to brush against a wrought iron gate.

We appreciate your interest in this item. This wreath weighs approximately 5 lb.Answer:
5-10 lbs Easy way to secure any wreath of any weight on a front door is with ribbon String 2-3 in wide wired edge ribbon through top of the wreath frame Secure to the very top of the door with a regular stapler 6 stables will hold a heavy wreath. Door opens and closes without any problem because the ribbon lies very flat and takes up no room. Just use staple remover and pliers to pul out staples. I learned this trick from an interior designer. I have hung 20 lb wreaths with no problem.Length of Ownership: < 1 year

Yes this wreath is reusable and can be used year after year. Not to mention I was so tired to using electrical cords and trying to somehow hide them during my outdoor decorations, but no more cords thanks to Frontgate this wreath is totally battery operated and you don't have to worry about turning on your lights everynight because it already has an automatic timer. The best purchase that I ever made. You are sure to enjoy your wreath for years to come.

It's certainly well enuf constructed and of durable enuf materials that I have no reason to expect not 2 use it ad infinitum! (If I have that long left!) But I WILL replace it in the box it came in rather than leave it in the window or in my instance, on the outside porch. Do wreath light really "mimic the look of incandescent lights?"
I would like to order this wreath but am concerned about the lights. I do not like LED lights that are the harsh bluish white light. The catalog description of this wreath & related items says the lights are "new T-5 bulbs that mimic the look of incandescent lights." But the website description does not say the same thing. I only like the look of incancescent bulbs--the clear ones that have a slightly golden white light. Please confirm that these lights do not give off the harsh bluish white light that, in my opinion, is very unpleasant to look at. Thank you.

The lights are a nice warm yellowish white that mimics incandescent bulbs very well. In my review I complained about the greenery, but I should have noted. The lights are fine-- a huge improvement over older LED lights that were too. Bright and. Very blue.3 months, 2 weeks ago
Answer:
The lights that I have on my outside front steps to prevent visitors from missing the step and falling R that harsh bluish white that u are concerned about. The lights on these wreaths R, repeat, R the soft, golden white incandescent LED lights that u wish. The wreath exudes a very pleasant appearance, unlike my step lights! Answer:
Pull out of the box (keep the box for storage since I think you'll easily get 3 years life from this item). Carefully "fluff" up the "branches" and let it sit for a while so everything naturally falls into place. I went and bought a big red bow to add to it for a little extra color. Looks great, hangs easy on one of those over the door metal hangers. Only thing you have to do is put in 2 D batteries and figure out where to hang it and which "switch" direction turns on the lights.Length of Ownership: < 1 year

can these trees go in a pot?
I have two large pots that I would like to put these trees in but since they are made for a pathway I want to be sure they would be suitable for a pot instead.

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this item. While these trees are meant to be placed along a pathway with the integrated stake, they could also be secured in a pot as long as it was tall enough to accommodate the stake.Answer:
I would think that would not be a problem. However, I plan to drill a hole in the bottom of the pot so if there should be anywater, or perhaps snow it would drain and not stand or fill up.

Yes, I see no reason you couldn't "pot" them providing the pots are deep enough.Length of Ownership: < 1 year

Yes, if you buy either florist foam block or a styrofoam block to place in the pot. You then simply push the stake on the bottom of tree into foam. It worked perfectly for me!3 months, 2 weeks ago

Can you replace the batteries so that you can use these from year to year or will you only get approximately 50 hours from these cordless products?

When I first turned my wreath on I accidently set it to the on continuously position and due to the location of the timer I would have to have taken the wreath down the next day once I noticed the lights were still on so I decided to leave it in place until the batteries died and the lights lasted for one whole week being on continuously. I used everready batteries.Length of Ownership: < 1 year
