Dual Dock Alarm Clock Radio 4.3 5 9 10

Great sound and simple setup I just received this radio yesterday and set it up in the bedroom. It mounts both my iPAD and iPOD and with the remote I can choose either device, FM, AM, etc. You can construct a "Philips" play list on iTunes and that play list will start with the alarm. The alarm system sets up very simply and I got everything done in just a few minutes. Small form factor but good sound. June 22, 2012

We appreciate your interest in this item. This clock radio is an FM radio only with an antenna located on the underside of the unit for optimal reception. Unfortunately, this item does not include a transformer.

Yes, it has AM, FM and (non Apple) music player connector. No transformer, device and cord are AC 120V. The antenna is a very thin wire that can be draped behind the nightstand or wherever you put the radio.

There are two docks. The front (dock 1) is for iPhone or iPod and if you will have trouble with your case it will be here. This dock's connector is in a recessed mount which may obstruct the sides of a case and prevent docking. The rear (dock 2) is for iPad and my iPhone mounts here even with an Otter case, which is quite thick. I do not use the optional provided rubber mat in this case but do use it when the iPad is mounted. So an iPhone with thin case will probably fit in dock 1 but will almost certainly mount in dock 2.
