I have a big house and want to have the ability to plug in my iPhone in my bedroom when I am in there and then when I am in my office plug in there. I want to be able to add a couple of expansion handsets that default to wherever the iPhone is plugged in. So, idealy 2 base stations and 3 additional handsets. Can I configure the phones to do what I want?

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Frontgate. You can have more than one Dual Dock iPhone and DECT 6.0 Cordless Station in your home, however, each additional handset can only be registered to one base station - they cannot switch between base stations.

Answer:
Thank you for your patience while we contacted the vendor to obtain an answer to your question regarding this item. We were able to confirm that this dock is able to accommodate an iPhone with a slim case, such as the Incase that can be purchased at the Apple Store. Thicker cases, such as those purchased from Otterbox or Speck may present a problem.

Included in our monthly phone bill as part of our service, we pay a fee for an answering system. If we purchase this unit, how does it distinguish between the phone answer system and the cell phone voice system? Do we have to turn off any of the telephone answering services? And, how amplified is the speaker phone (to what degree)?

Answer:
Thank you for your patience while we contacted the vendor to obtain an answer to your question regarding this item. We were able to confirm that while this unit is not an amplified product, there is a volume control for the speaker phone feature which produces an output between 70-85 dB SPL. Unfortunately, this item does not support any type of answering device or service. We apologize for any inconvenience.
