EasyRest Inflatable Guest Bed

disappointed
This bed was easy to set up. All I had to do was unfold, plug it in and add sheets and blankets. It even stores away without taking up too much room. I was however disappointed when after only 4 uses it sprung two air leaks in the seam. I would recommend shopping around before you decide to buy this air mattress.

No regrets
I bought 2 different types of inflatable beds from Frontgate as I had 8 family members joining me for Christmas. This one came on time, inflated very easily, looked great, stayed inflated, was complemented by the sleeper as very comfortable, and deflated easily. It is a bit challenging for a weakling like me to get it back into the rolling canvas storage bag but was no problem for my nephew. I liked it better than the other kind (on legs which came damaged and had to be returned. The replacement worked well, was comfortable and was easy to inflate and deflate but I think due to the operating parts is more likely to have problems)

Exactly What I've Been Looking For
I LOVE this bed. First and most obvious, it has a headboard - my guests have all absolutely loved this for reading, TV watching, etc.. Second, they can choose the firmness that their bodies are most comfortable with - something I couldn't do with standard mattresses. Third, having the mattress portion of the bed segmented so that the top behaves as a regular mattress - meaning that it is shaped to function so that mattress pads and fitted sheets work just as perfectly as with a "normal" mattress - finally makes sleeping on an inflatable mattress a good experience for my guests. Fourth, there were no problems with the bed unexpectedly deflating to leave my guests lying on the floor in the morning - I had a power outage for almost 4 hours while a guest was sleeping on the bed, and all was good. I really like the fact that I get all of these benefits with a portable product. I purchased the twin version of this product (both as a test and of necessity), but I am definitely going to be purchasing the queen version in the near future - I finally won't have to feel guilty for putting people in an inflatable bed!!

Easy to set up and comfortable
Purchased twin size for immediate use during bedroom renovation; plan to use longer term for guests.
Have used daily for a week; haven't fully deflated and folded up yet, which may be challenging. Haven't had the occasion to really use headboard for reading etc. So far, so good.
I set to firm and this works well-I usually sleep on a very firm cotton filled futon. Top off air every night . Not using the continuous inflation feature because it hums. I am using with the mattress topper.Even though topper is covered itr does work its way a few inches off the side of the mattress, requiring adjustment each morning. Mattress top could do with a bit more grippy flocking. The first few days I though the topper was too soft ,but I have gotten used to it. Intend to purchase fitted sheets and skirt for use with guests.

Great guest bed
This inflatable bed was attractive and comfortable for our overnight guest. easy to set up and put away.

If only it would deflate
Very easy to set up, good looking and very comfortable. Only problem I had was with the deflation device. This bed would not completely deflate. Impossible to store in the bag given so it is going back to Frontgate. In fairness, I have 3 of these beds and only one seems to be defective.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these beds!!!!
I ordered two twin beds and one queen bed. They are WONDERFUL! I am sleeping on the queen until my new permanent bed arrives and I could not have asked for a better air bed. I have had other cheap air beds before but this one feels like a REAL bed! I HIGHLY recommend these!!!

Easy rest
Attractive, higher than ordinary blowups, no bar in your back, and yes, you can sit up and read!

Perfect bed for overnight guests!
This inflatable is very nice quality and served as the perfect bed for a single overnight guest...even inflates to the size of a regular bed so, no challenge of getting in or out of it.
I was concerned whether regular twin linens would fit but they did perfectly. Best of all, my guest loved sleeping on it!

Perfect back-up bed
We have a guest room, but occasionally have extra guests. This bed allows us to use our home office as an additional sleeping area. The first person to use it was my brother -- over 6 feet tall and 185 lbs. He reported being very comfortable on it, and tried each of the settings during his stay. We love the automatic inflation & deflation! A very high quality product. It would also be easy to travel with if one is staying with a friend who does not have a guest room. If it had an electrical adapter, we'd take it camping with us!

Guest Bed
We use this bed in our master bedroom for those times when our young son wants to "camp" in our room! It is so comfortable that I use it too! Can't wait to try it out on a houseguest!

Great Guest Bed
I purchased this bed so I could put my sister in my home office when she comes to visit. It fit perfectly and her first night was fabulous. The second morning I found her sleeping on the sofa. Apparently, the inflator sensor had gone haywire and had tried to continuously fill the bed with air until it had a huge lump in the center. Deflating was impossible. My sister has a keen sense of humor and was willing to sleep on the sofa for the remainder of her stay. Frontgate gave me no problems and sent a new one out the day I called. I can't wait for my sister to visit again. I'm not gong to tell her I have a new one! I would still give the bed high marks for fast inflation, comfort and style. Most products have a bad apple in the bunch and I just happened to get one. How that was handled made the difference.

THIS BED IS AHHHHMAZING!!
We purchased this bed during a home remodeling project. This bed is totally amazing! It is quality plus! My husband is 300 lbs and I weigh 140. We have slept so well during the hiatus of construction! We have a sleep number bed and this is truly a mini version of the real thing. I was doubtful the headboard would be sturdy enough to rest against to read at night. Voila! It is! Everyone should have one just for guests or any other circumstances. We however did not receive the patch kit. I will call about that. Good work Frontgate! We will be steady customers! Thanx!

Wonder Bed
I had a house guest for a week. She slept on the bed and now wants to purchase one for her own home. Not only was it extremely comfortable for her to sleep on, but it inflated and deflated in the 3 minute time frame given. Because of a lack of space in the room, and also because it was so quick and easy to inflate & deflate, we would store it each day, and get it out at night. We would have it inflated and made up in 5 minutes.. It folded up easily to fit into the storage bag with no problem.

Love it Love it Love it
I have never been so impressed with an air bed as I am with this one.... I tell everyone I know just how great it is, also I let them lay on the bed to see just how supportive it is and how great it keep its firmness. I have not slept this well in over 14 years. thanks so much for this wonderful product .

Came apart at the seams
After a few uses, the mattress came apart at the seam of the headboard. My holiday houseguests were left sleeping on the floor! I've reordered the product hoping that this was just a rare defect. Frontgate has been helpful with the return process.

Great Bed!
I bought this bed for my 82 year-old father and stepmother to sleep on when they came for Christmas. They can no longer walk up the stairs to my spare bedroom so I converted my first floor study to a temporary bedroom. My husband and I slept on this bed for 2 nights to try it out before we put my parents on it and it was great for us. I was concerned about the stability since my dad is a good 230 lbs! No issues! They both had a very comfortable sleep for two nights. The only issue is that the bed gets a little cold from the bottom so I put an extra thick mattress pad on it which helped a lot. It also folds up well for easy storage. I'm so glad I bought this bed!

Quality Bed
This is not your stereotypical air mattress. It is high quality and remains inflated throughout your guest's stay. My guest complained the mattress was cold, but that was solved by putting some extra layers on top of it. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great alternative to a permanent bed!
We bought this EZ Rest inflatable bed (twin size) originally for our little granddaughter to use when she spends the night, as she will soon be graduating from crib to a twin bed. But now we have Christmas guests coming from out of town for 2 nights, and this bed will come in very handy for that. It's inflates quickly, and deflates totally. Folding and putting it back into its bag is easier with 2 people doing it, but I'm sure could be managed by one. I love that it keeps inflating silently, and I do mean silently! You don't hear the pump after the initial blow-up. I haven't slept in it, but laying down on it is very comfortable. We also bought a quilted mattress topper for extra comfort. When everyone's gone, I can put it away, and still have my spare room for sewing and other projects.

EasyRest Inflatable Guest Bed
Very pleased with initial appearance of the bed -- Easy to use and easy to put away.

Perfect!
Most importantly, it came in good time! A comfortable, REAL bed; because of the head rest giving that security, it is able to be anywhere, even in the middle of the living room if necessary....
It inflates and deflates with ease automatically by electric outlet.

She said "Wow, this is really comfortable"
We purchased this as a guest bed for family and friends when visiting us.. My sister came to spend 2 nights and she couldn't believe how comfortable this "blow up bed" was. She is 5'10" tall and in her late 50's and none of us are as limber as we used to be. She really loved the height of the bed and on the second morning she said "Wow, this is really comfortable"
As far as quality and durability, we won't know until we use it for some time but we did go ahead and purchased a second one.
We had a difficult time folding it and putting it back into the bag and there were no instructions to help.

Great for guests
Set up with ease, not to heavy to drag out and my grandchild slept well. It also tucks away without using up a lot of space.

Love it
We love the bed. Very comfortable, easy to set up and take down.
October 19, 2011
Quite large
Very comfortable to sleep on but you have to keep it plugged into the outlet, or it will start to deflate.
Note also that it is, very long due to the its thick headrest.

As Air Mattresses Go...
I have slept on a couple of air mattresses in the past and found myself on the floor in the morning. Not with this one. The comfort settings work great, as does the head rest. I was completely surprised by the fact that I can lean against the head rest and be able to read a book. The bed does replenish any lost air and quietly. In fact, one morning when I just didn't want to get up I had my ear to the mattress and could hear the air being "pumped" back in and then shut off. But I did not hear it during the night.
The only thing I would say is a little disappointing is the fact that sometimes not all the air is expelled but that is easily fixed by rolling the bed up for storage.
Yes, I would recommend this to anyone.

Comfy & Convenient
My niece reported being very comfortable on this bed for 2 night visit, and after she left my son campaigned to leave it set up in the tv room because it was so convienient to lounge on while watching the telly. So easy to inflate/deflate. Did have a bit of an issue with the contour sheet wanting to slide off.

used it once, seems great
We used it for our grandson who is 5 years old.
He slept very well in it, liked it and we liked how
easy it inflated and deflated. Not much difference
between firm and medium, really feels the same.
It seems to do what it says it will do and we were
happy with that. I would recommend it and have
already done so.

Great nights sleep
Stayed at my Aunts for a visit last week in Chicago. Stayed on a queen size with my other half and thought this was great. Had plenty of room, was very comfortable esp with being able to adjust the firmness of the bed.
I have now just ordered one from here and cant wait to replace my old bed with this.

Easy to Set Up
This bed is fantastic. It's easy to set up and very comfortable. It looks like a real bed. It can be set to firm or light as you like. I would most definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

Does the overall dimensions include the headboard , making the length shorter?
4 months, 2 weeks ago
Answers
Answer:
The length measurement is based on the bottom of the bed. If you look closely at the photos on the Frontgate web site, you'll notice that the headboard is set in from the bottom of the bed. So, the length measurement is for the longest part of the bed, that being the bottom - in other words, the headboard doesn't lie behind the "mattress" for this inflatable bed. The headboard lies within the length of the mattress. So, the actual full length of the twin version is indeed 89 inches, and the actual length of the queen version is 93 inches.4 months, 2 weeks ago

Is the mattress that looks like it is on top of the inflated base part of the product?
I am trying to decide on which inflatable mattress to purchase. I like that this one has a headboard. From the picture it looks like there is a mattress on top of the inflatable base. Is that part of the product? Or is that another mattress? It looks like two parts. Thank you!

Answer:
YES! The mattress is attached to the lower portion of the bed. It is soooo comfortable too! Its a snap to inflate the bed and the upper mattress is quilted and comfy. My husband is 300 lbs and he tried it before our guests came for the weekend. He stated it was very comfortable, and the support was like a mini sleep number bed which we sleep on.Have no fear this is the best bed ever!

Yes, the mattress is permanently attached to the base and the headboard is attached to base.Length of Ownership: < 1 year
5 months, 2 weeks ago
Answer:
The "mattress" you see is actually part of the base of the inflatable bed, and it inflates with the rest of the base at the same time the headboard inflates. The great thing about this "mattress" on the inflatable bed is that you can use a mattress pad and fitted sheet, and they won't pop off as happens with the standard inflatable bed - the top of this inflatable bed behaves just like the mattress on a standard bed would. The one thing I've found is that it's best to use a flat sheet on top that's a bed size bigger than the fitted sheet, as there's no way to tuck in the top (flat) sheet. My guests have been much more comfortable since I've started doing this.4 months, 3 weeks ago

Can I use regular queen size fitted sheet on this bed
6 months ago
Answers
Answer:
Thank you for your interest in the EasyRest Bed. A standard fitted sheet is really not able to be used with the EasyRest as you will not be able to tuck it in around the corners.Answer:
Yes, you can definitely use a queen sized fitted sheet for this bed.You can even use a queen sized mattress pad under that fitted sheet for extra comfort and/or protection. The one thing I've found is that it's best to use a flat sheet a size bigger than the bed (queen sized bed, king sized flat sheet), since there's no way to tuck it in - the extra length on all sides seems to do the trick as far as comfort goes.
