I bought a garland made of fresh blue mountain frasier fir.

We hung it up this afternoon and it shed a lot of needlles everywhere. It is not very pretty either. I have never ordered fresh greenery and maybe I just didn't understand what I was ordering. I love the smell of this greenery, but I don't know how to decorate with it. Can you give me some pointers?
