The phone of all phones! This is somewhat complicated to set up, but when you have it going, it is the best! This is German engineering at its finest and the best phone I have ever owned! It just takes some time to understand the phone and to set it up. But when you get there, it is terrific! May 10, 2013

DX800A I have received my new DX phone and it is SUPER! Reading the ratings I am totally confused on the complication. I managed to have it configured up and running complete with address book in under 2 hours-mostly using the user friendly interface in the phone. ONly relied on the manual for 2 quick explainations. I am not a tech and just an ordinary user like most of you. Great investment, audio quality and easy directory access. Quality is best I have ever had. I'm not using IP side to qualify. Horrible Purchase I purchased this phone along with the additional phones last year. This phone is very difficult to use. The buttons do not intuitively correspond with the actions that you are hoping for the phone to peroform. The additional phones don't work in our large home because they are too far from the base. I am very disappointed with this system. December 12, 2012

Feature Phone I've been looking for a desk phone for my home office. Having owned a couple of excellent Siemens cordless phone I expected this phone to exhibit the same quality and functionality - and it does. The design is simple enough, but the functionality of the phone is both good and bad. This much capability comes at a price: complexity. You'll need to spend some time getting familiar with the depth of settings available both from the phone and via the web interface. But if you're reasonably technically inclined, and if you appreciate those "wow, it can do that?!" moments in a humble phone, I think you'll like this phone. It probably does more than you'll ever need (seriously, who is going to add calendar events to their phone!), but there are lots of very useful functions. There are just too many capabilities to list, but I will mention that the free worldwide calls between Siemens phones is pretty nifty... provided you know someone else with a Siemens phone. I may need to gift a few to my family oversees. December 12, 2012

The Phone To Own I have never experienced greater satisfaction from an internet purchae than this Siemens Gigaset phone. It'exudes quality construction and an attractive appearance. It has more functions than any other I have owned. Just as important, is that the instruction handbook is the most comprehensive, when compared to internet audio devices ( MP-3,Internet TV,etc.) January 14, 2013

Awesome Home Office Phone - Great sound! I setup my home office phone using a VOIP line. Prior to using my Gigaset, the sound quality was ok. Since I started using my new Siemens Gigaset phone, the sound is simply amazing. I can do my phone and conference calls as if I was in the office. I also purchased a couple handsets and the whole package is working flawlessly so far. I am very pleased with my purchase. November 9, 2012
