Set of Three Golfing Garden Frogs 4.8 5 8 8
Love these frogs!! We love these frogs, and, as we live on the golf course, have gotten many compliments from the neighbors and other golfers. Since the frogs only weigh about five pounds each, we did attach each statue to a stone base in order to add ballast. I'm unable to comment on the durability. April 14, 2013
Darling group but . . . Our home overlooks a green on our golf course so this grouping in the backyard aptly imitated an approach shot by our real golfing friends. I concur with earlier reviews that they are a bit light - or should at least come with some manner of anchor to secure them. Our golfer fell over last fall, not on rock but a fairly thick bed of pine straw, and his golf club broke off. So you will enjoy them, but take appropriate measures to keep them upright. Golfing Frogs This was my first puchase through Forntgate, although our pool and backyard could be in a marketing photo shoot for a Frontgate catalog thanks to my wife. We live on a golf course so the frogs fit right in. Solid construction and a great addition to the yard. Only down side was they were a christmas present for my wife and I did not count on the boxes having their contents plainly stated for all to see. My wife gets home before me, saw what arrived and she received a christmas present eaily this year. January 3, 2013
Everyone Loves Them Huge hit at our house! I purchased these as a Father's Day gift for my avid golfer husband. They are very well made, with great detail, obviously designed by a golfer with a sense of humor and tradition. Everyone who has seen them, or has seen the photo he posted online, has loved them. Huge hit at our house! June 23, 2012
Love my golfing frogs I love my golfing frogs. They look great in our courtyard. They need to be heavier to withstand the winds we get here, but we have them in the courtyard so they are protected. Frontgate was accurate with the description and the delivery information. They communicated regularly until the delivery was complete. We are big golfers so we wanted something in the garden to reflect that. We get loads of compliments on them too. Too cute. June 21, 2012
Adorable Although a bit pricey, this set is a must for anyone with a golf fanatic in the household. Well made with lots of detail and so different from the typical yard art out there. June 9, 2012
Adorable and conversation piece Bought the three frog golfers for my husband's birthday. Everyone comments on how adorable they are. Wish they were slightly heavier, but they are great on our screened in patio. Great gift for a golfer. June 8, 2012
Good Job I bought the 3 frogs as a gift for a family member whose house had caught fire in an electrical storm and sustained substantial damage. With the $4 million dollar renovation complete we thought that he and his wife (both avid golfers) might enjoy the luck and company of the 3 golfing frogs. Unfortunately the ordering process had no provisos for gifts (cards, wrap etc.) so my brother basically received 3 boxes and I hoped that our card, mailed separately, would tie in. Being 1,800 miles from him, we're glad that It did. May 18, 2012
