Little did he realize filling out a simple form online would result in him being chosen as winner of the Lexus Sweepstakes.

Talk about a change in luck. David said he has won, little, if anything, in the past; "maybe a certificate for a free sub or something like that." And, like many contest winners, David said it took awhile for his win to sink in. "I didn't really believe it at first," he said. "It didn't seem real until I saw it at the dealership."

Now he has a beautiful white luxury SUV with cashmere interior and amenities beyond his wildest dreams. The 2010 Lexus RX 350 is a midsize luxury crossover SUV that seats five. Standard features include 18-inch alloy wheels, keyless ignition and entry, 10-way power front seats, a power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, wood interior trim, dual-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth capabilities, a nine-speaker stereo (with a CD changer, steering-wheel-mounted controls and an auxiliary audio jack) and second-row seats that slide and recline.

David is most impressed by the technology built into this state-of-the-art vehicle. "It's a rolling computer. It has a huge monitor in the middle of the dash with a mouse, and it's voice activated. I can tell it what to do!"

"It's a spaceship," he continues "When I got to the dealership, the salesman said 'Come on, I'll give you a flying lesson'."

His "dirty work car", as he calls it, hasn't shown any signs of quitting soon, but after 10 years and 120,000 miles, David realized he might be in need of a new car in the near future. Thanks to his luck and to Frontgate, this is no longer an issue.

When he picked up the car from the dealership, he headed back to the construction site where he was working and relished the reactions.
"Oh, man, the looks on people's faces. Word got around quick. Most of them said it's nice to know that there's a real person that wins things like this."

David also noted that the personnel at the Lexus dealership was absolutely wonderful, and that the people at Frontgate were very professional and made the entire process a pleasure.
