Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 73 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this floating seat! This seat is so comfortable! I originally bought 2 of them, then I had to get 2 more since everyone wanted to float in these, and then I bought 2 more when there was a sale. The material is so comfortable and they never get hot like similar styles not made with canvas. A drink holder would have been nice, but it's still far better than any others that I've seen. The quality is so good I expect to have these for a long time. October 4, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kia Float Chair Got for hubby's birthday and he loves it, as do our friends who visit for a swim day. Maybe we need another? It does not fill with water as others have stated and is not heavy when removing from pool. September 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome float This float is awesome. Drains quickly and easy to take on the boat September 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great pool float I looked at these last year but due to cost could not get one. Then I saw you had this float on sale. Again I hesitated due to the price. I finally decided to purchase this float. I figured that all the money I spend on inflatables that end up being trashed is more then what I paid for this float. I love it. Waiting for another sale and hoping I have enough money to buy another Kai float. August 31, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutely fantastic float! Comfortable, light weight, easy to move in/out of the water. Dries very fast. Love the material. This is a favorite float! August 3, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kai Float Works great. Made very well and should last a long time. Very comfortable and stable. Easy to get in and out of. Was a little expensive but waited for e-mail offer of 25% off before we purchased it. Very Happy with Purchase July 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fun in the Sun I love this floating seat. You stay cool with half your body submerged in the pool. Kicking around also provides great exercise. July 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kai Floating Seat Without exception, this is miles above all others. I'm a swimmer. I've owned a pool for many decades. I swam as a child, worked as a lifeguard, took care of many pools. In other words, I would know. I don't say something like this unless I mean it. This is a great pool float. And, it's made with Sunbrella. I got the Pacific Blue color as it matches my Umbrellas. Great product. July 14, 2016

Answer:
I think it said 250. I have a heavy neighbor who used and loved it. I'm sure my neighbor's husband who happily floated on this is more than 250 lbs. Hope he doesn't read this though. It's wide enough for a football player. So far as weight, I would think it holds a lot.

Answer:
Don't know what the manufacture states, but do know we have relatives 200+lbs using our Kai seats all the time without any problems floating or damage to the floating seat. Everyone loves them. Had to buy three additional seats so that no one got stuck with a blow-up chair.

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Frontgate. The Kai Floating Seat is made with Sunbrella fabric. The following care/cleaning is recommended for Sunbrella:

Sunbrella fabric does not promote mildew growth, however, mildew may grow on dirt and other foreign substances that are not removed from the fabric. To clean mildew, or other stubborn stains:

Prepare a solution of 8 ounces (1 cup) of bleach and 2 ounces (1/4 cup) of mild detergent per gallon of clean water.
Spray on entire area and allow to soak into the fabric for 15 minutes.
Remove stain with a sponge, clean towel or very soft bristle brush.
Rinse thoroughly to remove all detergent residue.
Allow fabric to air dry.

Answer:
We currently have four floating chairs and have not experienced any mildew smell. We do drain the armrests after using by standing the seats on the white ends of the arms. Water gushes out immediately and slows to dripping. They are left in that same position but elevated on slotted chairs so any remaining water can drain and air have access to the "bead-like" filling overnight or until the next usage.

Answer:
I own this but haven't had that problem yet. However, I own a Frontgate fish made similar that developed a mildew smell only after I stored it without hosing it down. I would think you can simply hose it down, then let it dry in the sun. Soak it with water, then completely let it dry. That worked on the fish.
