Championsline 4-step Ladder 4.9 5 71 76
good ladder light weight, sturdy, convenient, over-all a good dependable ladder. June 25, 2014
Sturdy Step Stool Was looking for a sturdy step stool that would support 300lbs---found it in this quality step stool. Like the deep step on the top. Caution---it does not fold up for a slim storage. Would have been a 5 star rating if there was a handle to hold on to. May 14, 2014
The best ladder yet I have purchased several ladders over the past several decades, having developed arthritis in both hands (fingers and wrists) ladders can be a problem. This ladder is not only light weight, it's easy to open & close as well as to carry. The extra wide steps are a plus & I especially like the different openings on the top tray that will hold several different tools the slots in lieu of just resting them on top of the ladder as you hope the tools don't fall off. A couple of steps in the right direction I am a lady of a certain age, not an Olympic athlete, and my Victorian house has very high ceilings, light fixtures and smoke detectors. I quickly discovered that I would not be able to even change a light bulb by myself unless I had a ladder that I could carry to the job. This ladder is LIGHT. I can even carry it up the stairs. It is still strong enough to hold at least two of me. I love it. February 4, 2014
Meets Most Needs We needed a compact for easy storage step ladder to safely reach and work from heights in 11' 6" lower floor house/pantry. It is the closest ladder we could find meeting those needs that looks nice as well. January 14, 2014
Safest ladder for my house I have struggled with my husbands many ladders for over 10 years in our home with 12ft ceilings. lugging in heavy ladders to clean our small port-hole windows 10ft high or change our recessed ceiling lights. Trying to hang cleaning materials and a vacuum hose off these construction ladders was absolutely frightening. I saw this ladder after decorating our 10ft Christmas tree this year by myself for the first time (new empty nesters) and decided I have had enough so I bought it and told my husband that it was mine to use inside. well it arrived in time for me to use it when it was time to take down Christmas decorations. I have never felt safer while taking on this 2 day task! I was able to even reach to the top of the tree and remove the tree topper by myself. Living on a 3 acre parcel it takes both of us to do it all and this ladder gives me the security I need for years to come. It stores nicely in my garage and is very light weight. January 7, 2014
Championsline ladder Love this ladder. The 6 steps is perfect. Even had a tradesman ask where I got it. January 1, 2014
Love this ladder I absolutely love this ladder! It's lightweight and easy to move around, and sets up easily, yet it's amazingly sturdy. I have never felt so safe on a ladder. The deeper treads and platform, along with the expandable top railing, ensure stability and security. To top it all off, it's the best looking ladder I've seen! I would recommend this ladder to anyone. January 1, 2014

weight capacity in kilograms?

The cross strut below the bottom step is clearly embossed with "225kg" - NOT "225lbs". Since this product is made in Germany, I would expect the weight capacity to be stated in kilograms as shown on the product. Please clarify and verify manufacturer's ANSI certification.

I would like to purchase this product, but my weight is greater than 225 lbs.

Answer:
Thank you for your patience while we contacted the vendor to obtain an answer to your question regarding this item. We were able to confirm that per the vendor, because of ANSI, the ladder can only claim 225 lbs, but the European equivalent is 225 kgs. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this item. The ladder size would depend on what you would be using it for. If you were using the ladder in conjunction with a duster with a telescoping pole, you wouldn't need as tall of a ladder. It would also depend on your height/reach, which would be added to the height of the top step. For general purpose, we would recommend the 6 step ladder, item 47415.

Answer:
I just bought the 6-step ladder. I don't think someone over 225 pounds should stand on it. It is light-weight, and the steps are narrower at the top. It works great for me for when I need a tall ladder to change the lightbulbs around my house, which has high ceilings. But for a big guy who does construction, I would go with a Green Bull ladder, which is too heavy and bulky for us ladies who just need to get up high occasionally.

Answer:
Re the 6 step ladder: the 5th step is 42 inches above the ground, and the 6th step is 51 inches above the ground. I am not sure I would stand on the 6th step. It doesn't look at strong as the 4th step. I am very happy with my 6-step ladder.
