Rated 4 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very happy with this dog bed! This is a terrific bed! I wasn't sure if the medium or large would be appropriate for my 70-lb. labrador so I purchased both. The large was enormous! Way too big! The medium is the perfect size for him and even has extra room. If he was 20 lbs. heavier he would still fit comfortably in the medium. I love the streamlined look; looks good enough to have in the common living areas of our house. Only drawback is the cover can be tricky to wrangle on after washing, so the piping never looks quite as perfectly lined up as it does initially. After having it for over a year, the sides are starting to lose some shape from the weight of his head resting on it, but overall it has held up very well and was worth the money. I would purchase again! December 9, 2015

My dog weighs about 60 pounds. The sleeping area of her current bed is about 30" by 30" . She curls up in a corner against the bolsters when she sleeps, using less than half the space. We have limited space and don't want our new bed to be any bigger than necessary. Do you think she would be okay with a small bed?
I just took a picture of her posing - she isn't curled up as tightly as when she sleeps, but this will give you an idea. The 36" yard stick is for reference.

Answer:
If I were you, I would get the small bed. My 70-lb lab has the medium and still has extra room!

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Frontgate. In reference to your question, our recommendations for a 60 lb. dog is the large pet bed with inner measurements of 36x36. A smaller bed for a dog that weighs more may not last as long as the beds recommended for a 60 lb dog.
