Marcella Estate Urn 3 5 2 2
Marcella Urn. OK, but... This item looks great on-line, but was a disappointment upon receipt. Description indicates the item is cast from "stone and resin", but overall it has the cheap look of plastic. Very shiny as well which is MUCH different that shown on line. And the color is off - has a yellowish-tint. It is very thick-walled so the planting space was much smaller that expected. I don't feel I got my money's worth on this item. Live and learn. An urn that's shows well An attractive piece that shows well on the platform of my stairs. The Marcella Estate urn has been filled with cascading white wave petunias that are visible in the distance from automobiles and pedestrians along the side walk. The contrast of the dramatic urn and the stone wall along with the dwarf Japanese maple that provides an esthetically pleasing presence make me happy.. I wish instructions had been included with the urn however. For example, can the urn be left out in the winter with winter plantings or should it be wrapped and placed in warm storage? I hope it will be durable. May 4, 2014
