Product that works; jury still out on durability
This system works better than any other system I've encountered and is certainly much easier in terms of maintenance-- no traps, filters, buried electrical lines, etc. You plug it in and turn it on, and it works great on our patio. I like that the repellent is safe for kids and animals. We bought our first one at the Frontgate Outlet at the end of season sale; unfortunately, the inner ring corroded and broke, which I assume was because I left repellent in it over the winter. I liked it enough that I'm buying another one, and will certainly have a lot more to say if the same thing happens again. I have not read this criticism previously.

Didn't stop the mosquitoes
The machine is easy to use and to set up. It misted very well. The only problem is the mosquitoes weren't fazed at all by the plant based repellant.

Did not meet my expectations
The unit had a nice fragrance but it didn't repel those nasty asian tiger mosquitos.

very good machine
this does work very well. If it is windy the machince has some issues keeping up with the mosquitos. If you position it upwind it is your best bet. Can't wait to use it again next year. Make sure to purchase enough juice - I would recommend about 5 gallons initially.

Keeping the bugs away
I've only used this twice so far but it really gets the job done. Runs quietly and doesn't leave an odor.

great purchase
Works great on my patio. I spend a lot of time outdoors in the evening and this has made the time much more comfortable without having to constantly spray the yard for mosquitos and flies.

Product/repellent does not perform as represented
The Mosquito Sentry II seems to work, however one gallon of the liquid repellent, used at the lowest setting on the Sentry, doesn't come close to providing "up to 80 hours" of protection. The most I have gotten is 8 hours/gallon.
I have made the investment, so I will continue to use the product, in spite of the more than anticipated cost of operating the unit.

Vastly improved
The Mosquito Sentry II is a vastly improved over the first edition. The first edition required the removal of the tank when the Sentry was shut off. Great product that allows us to enjoy our patio at any time.
