Outdoor Dream Candles 4.6 5 46 49
Fantastic candles! I can't tell you how much I love these candles. Great quality and look fantastic in my outdoor pineapple lantern. They are worth every penny and I love the remote! March 24, 2014
Great Looking Realistic Candle This sums it up. Among other places I have them, they also are in 7 Trident lanterns on the far side of my koi pond. A friend said the candles look great overlooking the pond but must be a pain to have to light and extinguish all of them. I took my remote out and shut them off. He looked with disbelief and then laughed because he thought they were real, flickering candles. March 6, 2014
Like natural candles They are so beautiful !!! They look like real candles , and i love the idea of having the control remote so any time i can turn it on. Great product !!! March 5, 2014
Excellent Product These candles are outstanding. They offer subtle lighting, are remarkably efficient (long battery life), and can be put anywhere. I appreciate that all of my dream candles can be controlled under one remote. This is a new feature I think. My older models required the use of their own remote. With my latest purchase for outdoor use ALL of my dream candles now work with the new remote. There are no downsides to this purchase. January 13, 2014
A realistic flameless candle This is an amazing recreation of a lit candle. It has fooled visitors who thought it was a real candle. The best I have seen. (It doesn't appear that way when turned off though.) December 7, 2013
WOW!! I hesitated to buy these candles because they seemed a bit pricey, but I have to say they are nothing short of amazing. This must be the "next generation" of battery operated candles because they are incredibly realistic! We'll use them for the Christmas table and then outside next Summer.........definitely worth the price. November 22, 2013
Very Nice I'm very pleased with the candle, looks truly real. Haven't had an opportunity to use it outdoors yet, but it looks great in our interior setting. Bought one for a gift and I know they will really like it. November 21, 2013
Candles Love these candles. Have two glass holders and worried each time I had to remove older candles to turn them on & off. Not only do these look like they have a real flame but the remote makes it easy to turn on & off. Well worth the money. November 16, 2013

The color on these looks a bid odd. Are they cream colored when not lit? Two tone?

Thank you for your interest in Frontgate. The Outdoor Dream Candles would not be compatible with the Pineapple Hurricanes, which require a 3"dia. x 6"H candle.

These candles are not like regular luminara candles. The bottom has a button instead of a switch and there are no instructions on how to set the timer. Can you please give me instructions.

Answer:
Hi

I had the same problem. I figured it out by clicking it a few times and noticing the 3rd click made it turn off, so the first click must be the timer and second was the "on". I had to wait until the time of the day I wanted the candle to turn on before I clicked it once to "on/timer". Its works now but I agree its a pain to figure out. Just remember when you turn it on to the timer note if it was the 1st click, otherwise you will find it still on past the 5 hours;). Worse case you get it wrong the first time, you'll get right the second time

Answer:
Dear DPratt,

I have had my Dream Candles for a while now; as I remember, as long as you put batteries in your candles properly, you don't need to push the button on the candle bottom; just place your candles upright, and aim your remote (any Dream remote works with all Dream candles at once) at them and it/they all turn on at once. Same for the off button. The only thing to watch for is that the remote doesn't seem to work through glass, so you have to open your sliding door or window if you are inside, and aim directly at the candles. It will work through a screen, though.

Hope this helps! I love my Dream Candles, and all my friends want to get some now.

Answer:
I have the same candle. To set the timer you push the little green button the bottom of the candle to power up (turn on) the candle. When you have pushed the button, the candle should be on (lighted).

To set the timer, you take the remote control which should have four different buttons on it:

- Green ON button
- Red OFF button
- Black 5H button for "5 Hours", and a
- 10H button for "10 Hours"

After turning on the candle with the button on the bottom of the candle, point the remote control at the candle and press the 5H button to tell the candle to stay on for 5 hours. The candle will blink off and back on one time to confirm the 5 hour setting.

If you want it to stay on for 10 hours, press the 10H button and the candle will blink on and off two times to confirm the 10 hour setting.

You can turn the candle on or off with the remote. You can power the candle completely off, i.e. turn off the batteries with the little green button on the bottom of the candle. This turns the entire candle off, it won't respond to the remote control when you turn it off with the button on the bottom of the candle.

To power up the candle again, push the little green button on the bottom of the candle, it will power up, be illuminated and will respond to commands from the remote control.

Good luck.
