Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 575 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by No Regrets We received this clock 3 weeks ago and so far have no regrets. It arrived so promptly and was on sale and even shipped free! Kind of thought it might be too formal and busy with all the detail, but ordered it anyway as it was the only copper outdoor clock I could find online without horrible reviews. We were so pleasantly surprised when it arrived. What a gorgeous clock and it is so well made. It works perfectly and adds so much class to our patio. As usual, we are so happy with our Frontgate purchase. June 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Classy outdoor clock We are in love with this clock. It is a great size so it is easy to see out in the yard while you are working or playing. I want to get copper solar lights to match this clock. June 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super Clock We had an outdoor clock that finally bit the dust, and were unable to find something that we felt would be the quality and look we were used to....When we received your catalog and saw the Oxford Outdoor Clock, we were really excited and once it arrived it lived up to its description and picture. Very happy with it.... June 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Frontgate Oxford Clock Great quality, good heavy weight indicated substantial quality. Frontgate shipping materials very impressive (no flimsy cardboard). Clock is easy to recalibrate and so far very accurate in its display of time, humidity and temperature. Very classy addition to my outdoor lagoon. Highly recommend. KT in S FL June 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just as described in the catalog Lovely outdoor clock is just as described in the catalog. It looks good in our patio. It is keeping time, temperature and humidity accurately. Very satisfied with the Front Gate quality. June 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Find a place for this gem My husband and I have a covered porch by our pool. We had a clock and thermometer that was old and non-functional hanging on a wall within the covered porch. I decided to replace it and came across this gem. It is as beautiful as it looks online or in the magazine. It fits perfectly in it's spot and its beautiful. We are very happy with this purchase June 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Clock We needed a new outdoor clock and found this beauty in the Frontgate catalog. It looks great on our patio brick wall and large enough that it can be easily seen while in the pool. We are very pleased with the appearance and the performance. Ordering was easy and shipping was very efficient and quick. June 7, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Clock I am very pleased with the Oxford Outdoor Clock. I purchased it to replace a similar one that I bought years ago and had stopped working. It was difficult to find a copper colored clock of this size - one that I could see from way out in the garden, but this one is perfect! I love it! May 23, 2016

Answer:
Both the temperature and humidity gauges on the Oxford Outdoor Clock with Thermometer can be adjuested by gently rotating the back of the hygrometer movement on the back of the unit slowly in either direction until the correct humidity/temperature is shown on the dial. If you have recently moved the clock to a new location, it may take several hours for it to correctly adjust.

Answer:
On the back of the clock, both the thermometer and hygrometer come through to a small black disc, about the size of a spice jar lid. One can rotate these to "set" the respective readings. Beware, however...these are NOT EVER going to be particularly accurate...just consider them a "trend".

When we removed from box it was 60 degrees and 38% Rh. It has been outside for over 3 hours and hasn't moved. My other outside thermometer says it is 78 degrees. Do I need to do something to back go clock? I did add a battery so the clock works. HELP please. It just arrived today.

Answer:
We had to turn the back knobs for temp/humidity several times then it finally kicked in and worked fine. Use another thermometer you know is correct to set it. At first I thought it was not working then after turning the knobs several times it started working properly and has kept temp/humidity spot on.

Answer:
Use the Weather Channel's online app for your exact area (by zip code) to get accurate temperature and humidity numbers for your area. Use the easy calibration wheels on the back side of the clock to set to match. The error rate is very small. You may have to check the weather channel a couple times to get the best match but it does work. The temperature and humidity are not battery controlled, they run by a spring so will always work even if battery dies. Battery only runs time.
We love the clock, once calibrated it is extremely accurate.

I bought the clock that is similar to this but has numbers. I cannot locate it anymore on the website nor can I find my old email confirmation that I ordered it. Anyway, how long should the batteries last? We've only had it for a few months, less than 5 months, and I've already replaced the batteries twice. I just changed them two weeks ago and today the clock was dead again.

Thank you for your interest in the Oxford Outdoor Clock with Thermometer. The batteries should be changed at least annually, but the battery life depends on the type of batteries that are used. We recommend using lithium batteries, especially in cold weather.

Answer:
Battery life - 4 to 6 weeks MAX! Cheap movement, BIG hands, LITTLE battery.

Although I haven't done this, with a little ingenuity, a trip to Fry's, Best Buy, or the like, one COULD add a D-cell or cells in a battery tray, either squeezing the supply leads at the ends of an installed AA battery or soldering them to the battery clips themselves. The clock will weigh a pound or so more, but THAT should last 6 months or MORE!

Thank you for your interest in Frontgate. If the clock is placed in a more shaded area of the home and not in the direct sunlight it should withstand the heat. While the thermometer only reads up to 110 degrees, the material of the clock will withstand up to 150 degrees heat.

Not really! You CAN adjust the temperature by twisting the thermometer housing on the back. However, the thermometer WILL be influenced by sun, wind, and the "heat-sink" effect of the material (stucco, brick, etc.) behind the clock itself.
