Pet Loo Indoor Yard Training System is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Be patient It took awhile for my Yorkies to get the idea to use this product, but now they understand. I really like the plastic housing and consider this system a great improvement over buying pads. My only criticism is the edges of the "grass" should be bound where strands of "blades" do not fall out when cleaning it. If the edges were bound, I would rate this product five stars.

what is the size for the Large?

what is the size for the Large Loo? How do you train an older dog (5 yrs) to use, any tricks? Thanks, Cathy
Asked by: butterflyc
Thank you for your interest in Frontgate. The Large Pet Loo measures 33"sq. x 5-1/2"H. The manufacturer has the following information regarding training older dogs: If an action is followed by praise or reward, after a period of time an animal will learn to repeat this action. This simple theory applies in training your pet. Training a dog to go to the bathroom is as simple as applying basic toilet training principles: • Place your pet where you want them to go at toilet time. Dogs usually relieve themselves after a sleep, after they eat and after a play session. Younger puppies may need to urinate as frequently as every 30 minutes. • Keep your pet at that spot until it relieves itself. • Praise your pet when it does so. Repetition of this action will eventuate in an animal trained to use the designated spot or even a product like The Pet Loo. Training an older dog may take a little more time and patience but if you invest the time, you will reap the rewards.
