Looks great, but not in the sun We got 2 of these. They are really pretty, but don't put them in the sun with a candle in them: it melts, even in December. We put both on our covered patio, but one gets full sun most of the afternoon. The candle melted enough to tilt over. December 4, 2012

Not as Pictured - Really Disappointed in Quality I am unsure what happened on my order, but the two pineapple hurricanes I received are nothing like the description or picture. They are not bronze as pictured with gold highlights - they are BLACK, with very minimal gold highlights. One was so crooked it appeared to be leaning over and also (in several places) had either silver paint on it or was it chipped down to the base metal. I'm not sure which. They are going back and will not be replaced. December 1, 2012

Beautiful hurricane This pineapple hurricane is so lovely. I am going to use it on my Christmas dinner table. What more welcome thing could you have in the middle of your table? I will surround it with polished magnolia leaves and holly berries from my bushes. Even after the holidays oare over, this hurricane will be lovely just about anywhere I place it. I will put it in my entry hall to welcome guests all year. The glass is fragile so be careful! November 28, 2012

Pineapple Hurricane Having lived in VA most of my life I am a big fan of the pineapple and what it represents. I am using the lamp on my island eating area in my kitchen and I use a battery operated candle. It is soon to be surrounded by a Christmas wreath and will be easy to decorate for all seasons. Absolutely LOVE it! I had been waiting a year to buy these (2), and finally did. Very heavy duty, well made, and I love the design. I am using them indoors -- far too pretty to only use when entertaining outside. The light they cast on the walls is of course in the patterned design and very cozy. Lovely We bought two of these for centerpieces for our upper and lower porch tables and have received many compliments. I bought some of the faux candles with timers and they went on and off daily all summer. They look wonderful. We did have a problem with the one leaning al little too much, but Frontgate exchanged with no problem very easily. November 2, 2012

Love the pineapple We purchased the Pineapple lantern a couple weeks ago because we love the pineapple symbol as a welcome to our home. Package arrived without any damage but when we set the lamp up, we noticed it was blown with a noticeable "leaning" to one side. We thought to return it, but we like the "hand blown" effect. I guess this is one of the reason we like the piece so much. A bit pricy but we feel happy about the lantern. We put a battery candle (3 1/2") into the lantern and it looks great! November 1, 2012

A beautiful centerpiece Having just moved to Hawaii I was looking for a centerpiece for the dining table befitting our new lifestyle. Frontgate's Pineapple Hurricane lamp is absolutely perfect. During the day the large size and simple elegance of the lamp are a joy to see and in the evening when the sun has the set light from the candle illuminates the setting with a beautiful warmth. On another note, we were extremely surprised and delighted when our new lamp arrived in less then 48 hours at our front door. Stunning!! My husband and I were visiting my niece and he commented on the pineapple hurricane that she had. I took that as a green light to purchase one for us. So I got one for us a two more for Christmas gifts. They are beautiful. I put a luminara candle in mine and placed it on the dining room table. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
