Thank you for your patience while we contacted the vendor to obtain an answer to your question regarding this item. We were able to confirm that this station has 3A total output for 15W. The iPad optimal charging specification is 2A. If a second iPad is connected, the quick charge function would not be possible, however both will still charge at a slower rate. For reference, other devices such as an iPhone or Blackberry require 1A or less to charge.
