Some Water Leakage
I bought 3 sets of the Pro Series IV Up Lights and they performed wonderfully through the season. The lighting was bright and best of all I could move the position depending on my flower display. One con would be that 3 of them have developed water condensation inside the lens. I will need to return for exchange which is a hassle I prefer not to deal with. At this cost would have expected better.

Not happy
Purchased a set of the Pro SeriesIV Spotlights to illuminate my flagpole. Lights are not powerful enough to reach the top of the 18 foot pole. One light already has condensation inside the lens.
Not the quality I'm used to from Frontgate. I will reurn these lights.

Great lights
Bought these based on the other reviewers- they were 100% right- these are great lights, come on early (much earlier than my other solar lights) and stay on for a long time. Uplighting I thought we could only get with electrical lights!

Brighter than expected
After having purchased some "plastic fall apart" lights I decided to give these a try. I am glad I did. They far exceeded what I expected. So much so that I bought a second set a week later. One set is above the BBQ it is bright enough for a late night dinner and the other is aimed at the ponds water fountain. I'd like to get another set and put them in the kitchen both for late night visits and when our electricity goes out in a storm. They are definately worth the money. And they look nice too.

IMPORTANT
Silicone around the edges of the glass in the light because they leak and hold water and rabbits really like to eat the wires. Other than that, a great product.

Pro Series IV Solar Uplights and Spotlights
I would give these lights a rating of 4 out of 5. I used the lights as uplights behind my outdoor living room on my deck, and realized that one set was not bright enough. So, I ordered a second set, and the two sets provide ample illumination. I am happy with their reliability -- they started working right out of the box without even being fully charged by sunlight!

Finally some solar lights that work
After trying repeatedly using solar lights from box stores of different brands, I have a light that really works. I have had them in for only 2 weeks and hope to see the performance continue for some time to come. Good light on the up lights, the spot light was a bit weaker than I was hoping for. The light is a whiter light than the incandescent lights on the outside of my house. All in all a very good light for a solar!

addendum to first review
Be aware that if you push too hard on the light getting the stake into the ground or trip over the light you can have the small fine threaded screw the holds the light swivel bracket to the base that fits onto the stake pull lose. The threads strip in this soft metal. This happened to me. there was some thread left in the base and I have used Locktite to hold the screw. If this doesn't work use a little larger sheet metal screw.

High Quality
I purchased these lights to illuminate our wall mounted American flag on the front of the house. I am very pleased with the brightness of the lights, and the quality overall. They are heavy and appear very durable. Would definitely buy again.

Just what we needed
The Pro Series solar lights have worked perfectly and held up over time. We purchased some 1 year ago to just try out. We have had bad luck with lights purchased at local stores but these have been great.

exceeds expectations
These solar lights are well-designed, appear sturdy and cast a wide, bright light. I was hesitant to buy them--- we had purchased a similar set from a well-known garden/outdoor name. Those were 'light-weights' in material/wiring and stopped working after a couple months. Thank you for doing the legwork to lift up the best products on the market so we can order from Frontgate with confidence!

Love It!
Excellent quality and brightness is better than I expected. Simple to set up and works great as long as there's sun to charge the solar panel, which is not a problem in sunny California. Liked it so much I bought a 2nd!

Spot on
Bought these spots to light a new entry gate and house number. No street lighting in my neighborhood. Given a full day of sunshine they work perfectly...a partial day they work good but don't last as long. I would recommend them.

Great touch of ambiance for the yard
These small but sturdy lights make a nice addition to your landscaping. They put out a reasonably good amount of light for solar, and they stay on the advertised 6 hrs most all nights (If sun was out that day). Uplights have more "spread" than the spotlights. I mixed and matched a few sets to get the desired effect.

solar spot light
These solar lights work well and are a good value and quality. I live in a sunny area and the lights last as described. I just ordered an additional set of up lights and look forward to seeing the coverage, will keep you posted.

Very Nice Effect
I ordered two sets of the uplights for my Arizona backyard. They highlight the cactus and rocks and look wonderful. The light is white (unlike typical low voltage). They come on at dusk and stay fully illuminated for several hours. They are far superior to the solar walkway lights from another company that I have in my front yard (and will be removing.) I have had the lights for about a month.

Light only lasts a few hours
Maybe I expect too much from this lights. The light will only lasts a few hours, only after a fully sunny daytime. If it is pretty cloudy day or raining day, no light comes out. And the panel has to be in a sunny spot. I like Frontgate. That is why I always first go for Frontgate to get the stuff I want. The workmanship of this set is good, very solid. The first couple of hours you will be very happy with the light, very bright. But then nothing comes out. I choose 10H(not 6H) in the back switch.

Shine non existent. Very dull pitiful light.
So sad; I was expecting there to be bright light and it is the dullest light. A small flashlight would offer more light. After reading the description of this product and considering the price, I was expecting a whole lot more light.

Disappointing
We bought these due to the strong reviews, however, they remain lit for approximately 1.5 hours before turning off. Even when fully charged after a full day in the sun. We will be returning these uplights.

Halloween delight!
These spotlights did a wonderful job of lighting up ghosts and witches in my yard, bringing much excitement to those on neighborhood hayride. The lights will find happy homes among my plants after the holiday. I have an off-grid all-solar home so I greatly appreciate these lights, knowing they will hold up well to the job. The brightest I have found to date.

Solar Spotlights
Installed solar panel on the roof and one of the two spots lights to highlight an olive tree outside of bedroom window. The window is 8 feet high by 12 feet wide (butted glass). The tree is centered on the window about 8 feet into the landscaping. Had to reverse the position of the fixture on the base to get the uplight effect that I wanted but the result is absolutely stunning.

Excellent quality
These uplights are very durable and are quite bright. I bought 3 sets to uplight the trees that line our driveway. It creates a beautiful ambience as you pull in and the best thing is it isn't driving up our electric bill. I plan to purchase more for other landscaping in the future.

Bigger, Brighter, Better
The recently purchased sets of solar uplights were to replace existing ones that lasted almost six years (three beyond expectations). The new lights which illuminate various landscaping elements are bigger, generate more light in a wider pattern and produce a significantly better effect. Perfect.

Quality + Value = Supremely happy Customer
I had cost estimates from a landscape company for powered lighting that was simply ridiculous!!! I had fears that the lighting would be dim as many of my neighbors solar lights were and saw the routine solar lighting from Home Depot and Lowe's which were truly disappointing. I ventured to purchase the Pro Series III during their closeout sale was ultra-satisfied. With no more Series III available, i then purchased the Series IV which has a 35 year life expectancy. The quality of the lights were far superior to those recommended by my landscape architecture for 25% of the costs. The lights give true natural light illumination and are meeting their programmed design brightness timing. Thus, far I feel I have gotten a superior product [as all of my Frontgate purchases have been so far] and Frontgate stands behind their 1 year guarantee which is another major customer pleaser!!!
