Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Flameless Votive Extraordinaire I have been looking for flameless votives for a very long time. These fill the bill perfectly and look like real candles without the fire danger. I am using them in many different areas around the house. Having the charger, rather than changing batteries continuously, is so convenient. January 17, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Realistic Flame I liked the idea of the Dream Rechargeable Tea Lights at FG, but felt the price was a bit high. However, after seeing them in a FG store turned on, did I realize that they were a must have. The flame looked so realistic compared to other brands. In addition, the ability to recharge, remote control, and the 5 hour timer, is an added bonus. I have enjoyed them so much and bought an additional set. Thank you Frontgate for carrying high quality products that I can count on. January 11, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dream candle fan My first dream candle (window candle) was purchased a few years ago, and I was hooked. I have 28 of them, one for every window during the holidays, and they have never failed to work or impress with the realistic flame. Since then I've also purchased several of the pillar candles which are used year round. I waited to get the tea lights until the second generation was issued with improvements, and I'm glad that I did because these are terrific, especially when placed in a votive holder. Some might think that it's a nuisance recharging, but I don't find that the case. The charge lasts 15 hours of use, or you can set the timer for 5 hours on 3 consecutive nights. Because there are always candles ready to go, I don't see this as an inconvenience. The recharger base is light, attractive and discrete. I have it placed where I have all my other charging items such as phones. The remote works as it should. Extra charged lights (4) is a nice feature if you are using 4 at a time in your home. Great purchase. January 10, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great rechargeable tea lights These rechargeable tea lights are just what I needed. Last year I tried another brand that was not very good, didn't last long and then stopped charging altogether. One thing that would be nice is if the timer was programmable. To use the timer feature, I have to make sure to turn them at the right time and they only stay on for 5 hours. January 9, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Versatile and Realistic We have several Luminara candles of various sizes. The votives were a new addition for Christmas 2016. I purchased two sets. The fact that we can use them on bookshelves and other confined spaces without worrying about blistered paint or worse was the deciding factor on whether to purchase. They look great. The batteries last for two evenings of light from sundown to at least midnight before needing a recharge. The recharging station is attractive and the remote works wonderfully. January 9, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best purchase this year! I have used Luminara candles for years and was so thrilled when this size became available. Being able to recharge them is wonderful. Truly has the look of real flames. January 4, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth every dollar These tea candle lights fit all of my votive holders and are actually better than a real candle. The votive holders with mercury glass have never looked so good. The tea candles have a bright light and look like a real flame. This is because the "flame" piece moves -- the identifiable difference between the knock-offs where the "flame" piece is fixed to the candle. Having a remote makes it easy to turn them on/off, but the timer setting (5 hrs.) makes it easier still. Crazy expensive and worth it. I look forward to many years of use -- which makes the crazy expensive part really pay off. BTW, Frontgate is a fabulous company. Everything I have ordered from them has been a quality product. Rated 5 out of 5 by The Final Conversion to Dream Candles I started purchasing the Luminara dream candles several years ago and now have 12 of varying heights that I use, in various settings, all year long. My final crossover to rechargeables are the tea lights which I just purchased. They give off a very bright light and are perfect in some votive holders that I never found to be as beautiful as they should be. The biggest problem, though, for me is that I lose track of the 3-days they are charged and are on timers. The other 4 are ready to replace them, but when? Really hate to mark on calendar. Suggestions? December 22, 2016

Having some trouble.
I guess I am having some major issues with this item...

My mother has a set that looks exactly like your pictures. 6 lights. Six charge base.

Yet your description reads 8 candles and a 4 charge base. Which is nothing like what the picture shows 6 and 6 and makes me weary to then purchase at that price point because description and picture do not match.

Answer:
I would be wary also -- if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true. Buyer beware!

Luminara is the standard the others strive to reach. Usually there is one problem or another that appears after the purchase that makes the other brands less desirable.

Answer:
There are eight tea lights with a four base charger. They are white and are much prettier when you put them in a votive light holder. I have used them both ways. The picture I saw looked like they were in a Goldish votive light holder but they are not. I threw away my catalog so I don't have the picture but they look nothing like the picture did. That being said, I am still thrilled with these tea lights. I would have bought them regardless. But at first glance, when you have them in a receptacle, they totally look real. I love the two sets I got. But they are expensive.

Answer:
This item from Frontage came with EIGHT TEA LIGHTS, not six. The charge base is exactly as pictured, you can charge four candles at a time. The picture on the Frontage website shows eight candles. Not sure what product your mother has, but the product on Frontage website is exactly like the picture. I am very happy with this product.

About how long do the tealights take to charge? And once they are charged, about how long will they light before they go out.

I have a 3 1/2 ft metal votive tree that would hold 29 of these. I'm trying to figure out if I could get 4 sets to light the tree, or would it be more work than it's worth? Thanks.

Answer:
The literature with the candles say they charge in 6 hours and, when on timers for a 5-hour sequence daily, they will be lighted for 3 days (5-hours each). I accept that as the facts.

I have found, when forgetting to exchange them out, they will light for an hour or so the 4th night.

Answer:
My tealights arrived with some charge already in them and ready to use. The charge lasts 15 hours, or you can set the timer which goes on for 5 hours the same time everyday for 3 days. Recharging is fast....maybe within 10 minutes? The votive tree sounds lovely, and I would recommend getting a set to see how you like using them. If it turns out that you don't want to do the votive tree, then these are nice to place throughout the house. They especially look nice when placed inside a votive holder. The flame reflects more beautifully when inside of a tea light holder.

Answer:
Best tea light on the market. Eight come in the package. It takes about 6 hrs to charge (4 at a time). You get about 15 hours of light per charge. You can turn them on/off using the remote, or set them to turn on/off via a 5 hr timer. They are beautiful -- only you can be the judge as to whether they are worth it. If using for more than one year, I say "YES!"

Answer:
Yes. And, as an added plus, the remote works with all Luminara products. As an added minus, the remote does NOT set the timer. Once your tea light has discharged, you must reset the timer. Have I confused you? The only remote that Luminara makes, at present, only turns the candles on/off. The timer function is separate.
