Disappointed
I have previously purchased similar boxes from Frontgate and have been very pleased. Unfortunately, this version is poorly constructed. The fabric looks cheap and has a disagreeable smell. The Frontgate label is applied on a crooked angle; although this is a minor point, it demonstrates a lack of attention to detail. I am very disappointed and hope this does not signal a general decrease in quality for Frontgate.

Ornament dividers move easily
There is not a built-in 4-sided storage section for each ornament. Rather the storage sections from contiguous rows fit together to make each row. For example, In each row, some of the storage units are actually 4-sided boxes. The other storage units are formed by the sides of boxes from contiguous rows.
Moreover, the 4-sided boxes do not retain their square shape when not filled. The movable storage walls allow for flexibility when placing longer or larger ornaments into individual storage units but they make for very flimsy rows that keep changing shape. Even lifting the layer out of the box moves the individual storage units. The rows quickly disappear and have to be realigned.
I will try filling the individual units with acid-free shred to see whether it keeps the individual units from changing shape.

Great Trunk!
I purchased this trunk and it really is perfect! It doesn't hold a lot of ornaments...but it does have a nice storage area underneath the ornaments which held my 3 Mark Roberts Elves and the ladder that they sit on, which is 2 feet long after folding it. Very pleased, good quality. I liked it so much that I ordered one of the other ornament storage trunks to hold a little more volume of ornaments.

Really big but nice
This is a beautiful storge box. I didn't realize how big it would be and didn't check the dimensions carefully. It's not easily carried by one person if it's full. I bought one for each of my daughters to hold ornaments and decorations that are heirlooms, so it's a beautiful way to present/store such things.

Very good storage boxes
Boxes are durable and pretty. Except the rope handle somethimes comes out so I just tie another knot and its goods. Comes with dividers for ornaments that are basically two top trays and the then bottom is open to store other things. Since I have allot of ornaments I decided to not use it for that and instead use the top for all my Nutcrackers and other precious xmas things and got the Telescoping Ornament box for ornaments. If they could just put rollers on the bottom I would be in heaven..

BEST STORAGE
I truly value the many ornaments I've collected over the years and this storage box does the job better than any of the others I've bought. Plus, I don't have to wrap each ornament separately (like I usually do in other boxes) in order to keep them protected since it is made so well.

great large ornament storage box
I have a lot of very large ornaments and have ben looking for a way to eliminate or the individual boxes. this storage box is the best i have come across for the larger 5"+ fragile ornaments.

Wonderful!!!
For years, I have kept all of our ornaments in their original packaging, to preserve their integrity. It would take us hours to unpack all of the ornaments. Last year, I purchased two of these ornament storage boxes and they do not dissappoint!!! These boxes make putting up and taking down decorations so fast and easy! The boxes are sturdy and beautiful, too. Now we have more time to enjoy the season! Happy holidays!

Coolest Christmas Ornament Storage Boxes Ever
My mom bought me one of these trunks a couple of years ago for my Christmas ornament collection. I collect the small ornaments and I absolutely love it. Recently, I inherited her collection of large 4-6 inch ornaments. I wish I had purchased one of these beautiful storage boxes for her. They are beautiful, sturdy boxes, well made and a great way to keep your ornament heirlooms safe, secure and unbroken!.
