classy addition for outside area
This latern is so heavy and quite substantial. It adds just the romantic flair I need. It was a wonderful buy that will last a lifetime. I love it! In fact, I'm going to buy 2 more, if available, for my friends.

Fun candles
In an effort to avoid the mess of candles, I bought the battery candles. I was surprised to see they had a vanilla aroma and felt like a candle. The light they put out does not light up an area but does provide a warm glow that looks really nice. I bought 2 large lanterns to place the candles into. The lanterns have a pin in the center to place a candle. Be aware that the battery candle does not have a hole for this pin to fit through. Either cut off or shorten the pin if you want to use these candles in the lanterns.

28-1/2"Renaissance Garden Lantern
I like the design of the lantern. I put a large candle in the prong inside the lantern and when I took the candle out, the prong stuck to the bottom of the candle breaking the prong off. I guess what I will have to do is try and get the other 2 prongs out and put candles that are inside a glass container so that they will be able to sit flat inside the lantern. I was disappointed when that happened but hopefully I can get the other prongs out and find candles encased inside glass in large, medium and small sizes.

Excellent purchase
These candle lanterns are simply stunning! The only negative is the bottom section where the candles sit could be stronger. They are a little bit flimsy.

good purchase
Purchased 2 of these in 2009. Wanted more. Color green didn't match - not even close. For repeat items and repeat customers....important. Also you had unscented candles in 3 sizes to fit the lantern last year....this year - vanilla scented. Didn't like that. Now I have 5 lanterns. Like them...but wish the colors matched better.

An exquisite product!!!
The craftsmanship, the finish, and the beveled glass panels, make this piece unique and beautiful wherever it stands, casting a fabulous glowing light for all occasions.
The photograph does not truly convey the size and presence of this Garden Lantern. Even after looking at a tape measure to visualize what we were buying, it was still a pleasant surprise when we opened it.
