Beautiful coverlet; careful of the size
This is a gorgeous coverlet. I ordered the Estate blue shams and cover and they are beautiful. we have a king size rice bed with a tempurpedic mattress (which is very think). I wanted the spread to go to the side rails on the bed and not hang below them. The King size coverlet is very large and hung well below the foot and side rails on the bed. It made making the bed difficult since the cover had to be folded to use up the excess. I was going to take it to be altered and decided to wash it first. I am so glad I did. The coverlet shrunk about 10 inches in length and width and it is now perfect! Please keep this in mind. If the spread had fit, I would have been very disappointed in the shrinkage. It worked out great for me.

Thin bedspread, not a quilt
Because this was listed as a matelasse, I assumed it was a quilt. It is quite beautiful - better than even in the photos, but alas, it is a thin bedspread. Customer service was splendid about returning it.
If you are looking for a thin matelasse quilt that can offer gentle year-round warmth for your bed, you may want to try something else.

Wow, this fabric is gorgeous!
I ordered the white Euro shams. The fabric is just about the most beautiful, soft, and high end matelasse I have ever seen. It is very dimensional and the swirls are more shiny than the general background which creates depth and interest. Only gripe is it is envelope style and does not have buttons to keep it closed and it gapes open in the back.

pillow shams
We've had them about three months now. Fantastic. They still look like new. The color (dark brown) has stayed deep and crisp. They seem quite wrinkle resistant - we lean up against them to read and they stay neat looking.

Beautiful
Love this bedding. The pattern is even prettier in person and much nicer than patterns on Matelasse bedding at other retailers. Like others have said, it is longer than you would assume but I like that it lays longer, which eliminates the need for a bed skirt. However, I'm assuming that when I wash it, it will shrink so I may be in need if it shrinks drastically.

Luxury every night!
The matelasse bed cover is perfect in design, size, texture and look. I love seeing it on the bed and only wish there was a dust ruffle to match! Frontgate has the best linens - truly living in luxury!

Ivory shams did not match the Ivory coverlet
I ordered this in a King size, but had to return it as the shams arrived in the right color, however, the coverlet was much more yellow, more like a Cream color. Too much of a discrepancy to use on the same bed....
