Audio Bulb
Worked perfectly right out of the box. I have them outside in standard light fixtures (open on the bottom) shielded from weather and they sound great. Signal travels through a stereo cabinet and the outside walls about 30-40 feet with no drop-out. Elegant solution to an often difficult problem and the built-in lights work fine. Very satisfied!

Surprisingly great sound
Easy to set up, great sound, I use them outside on a covered deck and the sound travels far into the yard, they are unobtrusive in the light socket (had to change type of light to accommodate size of the lightbulb and sound travel).

AudioBulb
The first set we recieved only worked for about 10 minutes before one of the speakers blew out and the sound became muffled. The iPhone did not sit well in the docking station either, so we returned the defctive one for a replacement. So far, we have been pleased with the new one as the sound is good and the docking station seems to work better.

Very easy to use!
This light bulb speaker combination required little effort to install and I was up and running in minutes. We've been playing music from my iPhone all day while unpacking boxes in our new home. The music is sufficiently loud for the home. The box claims the bulb lifespan is at 10 years.What a small price to pay for the benefit of having something last for a decade!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!
There aren't very many things you can say you use on an everyday basis but I put the Audiobulb in this category. I put my set in the bedroom inside my two lamps on the nightstand and was enjoying light and music in minutes. The convenience of being able to use the bulbs as a standalone light or speaker is also a bonus.

nice product/good sound
The sound from the bulbs was terrific. The light is adequate and could be brighter when LEDs get better. Also, in my recent hotel stay where I screwed the bulbs into the bed side lamps, when I came back at the end of the day the lights were on. I have no idea what the cleaning crew did, but I suspect they cut the oights off and back on and left them on. Sigh...

Amazing Sound
We are impressed with the sound from the AudioBulb. We have existing speakers in our kitchen and found the AudioBulb sound is superior. We look forward to taking them on vacation or using them outdoors. I love the option to dim the light.

Yes, one can control the audio and light levels independent of each other....the light bulbs have 3 settings plus off....the remote controls the sound as well (point it at the unit and not the bulbs).6 months ago

We appreciate your interest in this item. Unfortunately, these bulbs are not intended to be used outdoors unless they are in a protected environment. We do not recommend using near water as they are not waterproof and exposure to moisture may cause a short-circuit in the electrical components, leading to malfunctions. The remote control allows you to control bulbs in individual "zones"; however you are not able to control just one bulb at a time, unless there is only one bulb per zone.
