Set of Two Pineapple Torches 4.6 5 72 79
Pineapple Torch lights They are beautiful. I ordered the torches twice because the first pair were so beautiful that I decided I would like to have two more. April 20, 2015
Beautiful These torches are beautiful. I purchased 2 and also got the bases. Look wonderful on my lanai. February 19, 2015
Excellent Torches Contrary to last review of Outside Guy 224 we found the torches to be an excellent buy. We took the recommendation of a previous reviewer and purchased the rubber washer and have not had any problems with water. High quality and we have received many compliments from our friends. Highly recommend these torches. September 8, 2014
The wicks fit older torches' designs I had purchased a couple of torches about 2 years ago or so and needed replacement wicks. I was afraid the new ones wouldn't fit older models but they do. So happy about that! I wouldn't have known what to do otherwise! August 22, 2014
Quality construction This is our second set of lamps.w e. Enjoyed the first set so much. Very durable and the finish is quality. August 12, 2014
Outdoor Torches-Better than Before We purchased two of the more traditional torches a year ago and loved, but $$. So this year we finally broke down and decided to purchase two more, however they were out of stock on the previous model. We bought the newer, pineapple version, which I wasn't a fan, but sincerely is better in every way from the other model. Looks much more authentic, weight, etc. Love them. We would put them all over the yard if they were a little cheaper July 29, 2014
Very nice torches These torches r very nice . It took me a while to justify the price, but the 5 stars from so many swayed me . They r very nice looking and I am happy. June 27, 2014
Excellent tiki torches After purchasing one torch after the other with quality issues each time, I realized the go-to source was Frontgate. These torches are of such good quality-large bowls for the oil, excellent wicks, very sold poles that easily go deep into the ground and packaged so well. Very attractive! I initially bought 4 and then ordered another 2 and I'm sure they will be adding beauty to my backyard for years to come. June 25, 2014

Water has gotten into my canisters. I can't seem to dry them out. Do you have a suggestion or can I buy just the canisters without having to buy the pole etc.?.

After reading the reviews, there seems to be a reoccurring theme about discoloration, peeling and rain intolerance of the copper bowls. As I currently live in Florida, these torches would be outside year round and would be exposed to rain and high humidity. Therefore, I am most interested in the experiences of customers who own these and also live in a semi-tropical or tropical environment.

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Frontgate. Citronella Oil has a lower boiling point than liquid paraffin. We recommend using only liquid paraffin in the Pineapple Torches.
