Bright and beautiful These lights are brighter and of a much better quality than most solar lights currently available. The light is a bright white. Great Product I bought 4 sets of these lights last year for the landscaped area around my pool , as the cost to wire the area seemed prohibitive. These lights are the brighest solar lights I've yet to see and the batteries lasted the entire season. So I just ordered another couple of sets for the driveaway area. Solar Path Lights Extremely dissappointed with the lights. I have had these lights for several months, half the time they do not light up for more than 2 hours. I have moved them around to make sure they are getting enough sunlight, or not in line with other lights, still not lighting. I bought replacement batteries, no help. I ended up pulling them out of my yard, due to them looking terrible from the street, half are lite the other are not. I bought 10 of the lights, wish I could return them, but since I am over the 90 days, I am out of luck. Waste of money, do not recommend! February 18, 2013

Pro Series IVSolar Path lights this set was well charged and set on 6 hr and 10 hr levels they would only stay lit for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. We are disappointed in this product. January 5, 2013

First set returned The good news is these pathlights are well constructed and sturdy. The bad news is I returned first two sets because they did not stay illuminated anywhere near hours listed. I am currently trying two more sets to see if they are any better. They seem to be staying on a little longer but jury still out. This time I tried leaving them "off" for a week to fully charge battery. My hope was that these would replace "big box cheapies" that workd in same spot/exposure but were poorly built making yard clean up and lawn care difficult. I do feel confident Frontgate will come up with a satisfactory resolution should these also need returning. January 3, 2013

Quality Light Set We are very pleased with the light set. Good quality and they put off a nice bright light. I wish they could last all the way through until the morning...we need to play with the settings to see if we can get extended light time, but haven't done that yet. December 27, 2012

They are beautiful...but They look beautiful, they light up bright, but...only stay on for an hour or two. We have yet to have them stay on for the scheduled 6 hours. I realize the batteries need to charge, but for how long? December 22, 2012

Performance not as expected The overall quality of the product is very good. They are well constructed, look great and burn brightly for a limited duration. However, after 1 to 3 hours of providing light, they go out. I originally thought it was due lack of sunlight during the daytime hours from the leaves of the adjacent trees, but with the leaves now gone there has been no improvement. December 4, 2012

Beautiful but don't work consistently These lights are absolutely beautiful. The material is heavy and the color is attractive. Craftsmanship is something you'd only expect from Frontgate. But they didn't work consistently. I had them on my deck in full sun all day. The first day neither light turned on. The second night, only one of them came on. The next night it switched,;the other came on but the first light did not. Since then, it's been hit or miss. They are not near outdoor lights or street lights, and they are both close in proximity. Don't have patience for this. That's why I ordered from Frontgate based on their reputation. Very disappointed. I hope they reimburse me for the shipping as the product is defective. total waste of money I ordered a dozen of these solar path lights and didn't get around to putting them up for about a month. They hardly EVER come on and when they do they last 1-2 hours, not 6 or 10 as advertised. I think I missed the window for returns or I would have sent them back - stay away from these or you'll be sorry ! I would rate them a ZERO if I could. November 25, 2012

Hugely disappointing I had high expectations that this would be the answer to lighting up the front walkway in the home we are renting (don't want to incur cost of putting in light fixtures). However, I have never seen light come from one of the lights and the second light provides light for maybe an hour or two. The area they are in gets sunlight so that can't be the problem. They were a total waste of money. I would have returned them, but the trash was picked up the day after we put these in. November 12, 2012

Shortened Light Display My 8 Pro Series IV Solar Path Lights are staying on sporadically only a couple hours a night, never 6 or 10 as promised. They look classy but are not serving the purpose of keeping people from driving over the edge of the driveway. Any suggestions? I really don't want to return these. November 6, 2012

Great but.... They lights are beautiful! Large, nice quality on the exterior, very bright light. The exterior of the light looks like a professionally installed wired light. The light is a little whiter than I would have liked (I prefer a softer glow) but they do put out great light. I bought only two iights to put in a garden. We have them set to stay on for 6 hours. When I first installed them...no problems, But it's been about a month now and I have one light that is inconsistent. For no reason at all, it will not come on sometimes. A couple times I just tapped it with my hand and it came on, but since then, that no longer works. My husbad will reset it and the next night it's back on. Now I'm starting to see this trend with the second light where it will just randomly not come on. I've noticed if we get a heavy rain that they both will not come on. It's very odd and I see from reading other reviews I am not the only one with this problem. Overall I love the look and exterior quality...very sturdy, and the light output is great, but not very pleased with the reliability of the light staying on. November 5, 2012

Great Solar Lights I bought two sets of solar lights and love them. Not only the quality is great, but also they are very bright. It has been over 6 months and my lights are doing great. Love the Lights--Batteries are not consistent After reading reviews about many different path and up-lights we settled on the Pro Series IV Solar lights we purchased from Frontgate. I have to say I was amazed at how nice these looked and how bright they lit up. Assembly was quick and easy. My only concern has been the inconsistency of the battery life. We have some lights that stay on for the 6-10 hours indicated in the instructions and other lights that only last 1-2 hours. We have been tempted to call Frontgate for replacement batteries as we have only had these lights for a few weeks. We are holding out to see if the duration gets better over time before choosing to take in action. Other than that we love these lights! October 23, 2012

extremely disappointed I purchased 1 set of lights and 1 of the lights stopped working-was replaced by 2 more-again stopped working--At night only2 of the 4 come on sporadically--not the quality I expected from Frontgate-Customer service was prompt in the returns but the product is not quality. solar path lights The 6 solar path lights that I bought are working beautifully after turning on the batteries. This was easy in 5 lights, but for the last one I had to get the assistance of a neighbor who had to put the light in a vice in order to get it open so I could turn the switch on for the battery. Great so far! I have been so disappointed with many different solar lights that i have tried. I tried these with a bit of trepidation! I was so impressed with the quality, but have been even more impressed with the light they put out. Even after a couple of cloudy days, they still lit up quite well. i've only had them for a couple of weeks, so the longevitiy is still in question. However, with frontgate's return policy, it is worth the try. October 11, 2012

Hands-down the best solar path lights ever!!!! Very handsome and well-crafted housing. These path lights are the brightest we have ever seen in a solar unit. The color/hue of light is bright white - not yellow or blue. They cast off more than enough light to safely navigate walkways, stairs and patio (this is not "ambience" lighting - it is far more fuctional. Installed six in less than 10 minutes. We have had them a month with no problems - they come on at sunset and stay bright well past our bedtime. Leave it to Frontgate to find the best in class. August 27, 2012

Do these look like typical LED solar lights?

on Set of Two Pro Series IV Solar Path Lights

I have been looking for solar path lights that don't have the harsh look of typical LED solar lights (i.e. either orange or bright white with a blue tint), but rather look more like hard-wired incandescnet lights. Can anyone tell me if these look more natural?
