Awesome lights
I took a chance on these lights based on other reviews and I wasn't disappointed. They are very attractive and stay lit for several hours. I live in Texas so there is plenty of sunshine during the day to charge them. I have them set on the brightest setting and still get quite a few hours of light. So much better than typical solar lights. I have only had them for a couple of months so I hope they will weather well and continue to work for a long time.

Solar Path Lights
Another no brainer!! These lights are attractive, superbly functional, and easy to set up. I love the fact that they are no maintenance. Just put them together, Turn on the switch, and go. I can't recommend them enough!

Bright Solar Path Lights
We bought four lights for our entry way path. They were very easy to assemble and put up in our yard. They look like electric outdoor lighting professionally installed, and I like how they automatically turn on and off and utiilize no power. The light ,however, is very bright and sometimes makes me think a car is pulling up to our home- I think we need to switch the setting to the lower voltage (which is an option). I prefer a warmer looking light- more yellow- and these are the energy efficient bright white lights. That's just a personal preference and has nothing to do with the quality of the item.

brite lite
Lights have good brightness for being solar. Out of the six I purchased two of them sometimes don't light up or go out after a few hours. After notifying Frontgates customer service, they replaced them promptly. I am very satisfied with the service I was given.

Lights are bright when working
I have 3 pairs of the above lights. When they work they are great. Out of six lights only four work the other two lasted less than three days.I would not recommend them!

Best Solar Path Lights I've Ever Seen
We tried out several different brands of solar path lights and found ourselves returning each brand -- until now. These lights are bright and stay lit until morning. We like them so much, we have ordered several more pairs.

Good product
One light quit working after 3 days but replacement seems fine. Units are attractive except that the bulb is a little glarey. A softer light would be more to my taste. Overall quality seems good. Durability remains to be seen as they've only been in use for a couple of weeks.

Best Solar Lights Ever!
I have bought solar lights in the past. They were always dim and unless they had a full days worth of sun they never stayed on very long. Even with a full charge I considered them a poor substitute for electric path lights. After much research I ordered FRONTGATE'S Pro Series IV Solar Lights. Right out of the box I knew I had found the best solar lights ever! They are so bright that when my friend saw them she asked me if I had electric path lights installed. It has rained for the past three days and still my lights are shining bright! They may be a little more expensive but they are worth every penny. You will never find a better solar light.

Beyond Expectations
Our driveway is long, steep, and wooded. I purchased two sets of these Solar Path Lights to replace old electric path lights that lined the drive and were inoperative when we moved in last year. The drive is in shade, yet after only a few hours in place today, the lights are glowing brightly! I can't speak to durability since I just set these up, but they seem very solid compared to the solar lights sold at the big volume stores.
These lights are expensive, but they seem worth the cost. I'm amazed at the brightness and the charging even in shade! I am ordering another set!

Beautiful, high quality outdoor solor lights

Very Bright Lights
I am extremely happy with these solar lights . My husband has commented on the quality and brightness. Our old solar lights were so dim they were almost worthless. I read many reviews before deciding to purchase these. They make the path look great.

Do these look like typical LED solar lights?

I have been looking for solar path lights that don't have the harsh look of typical LED solar lights (i.e. either orange or bright white with a blue tint), but rather look more like hard-wired incandescnet lights. Can anyone tell me if these look more natural?

Dear EDR1:I had the same concern, and took a chance when they were on sale.
To my surprise, they look and shine like hard wired lights.
The light that these lights give off are as bright as a regular light bulb. The quality of the metal case (bronze color) of the body is very good, not like the ones found in some of the stores that sell them by sets of 4. The batteries do last up to 5-6 hrs a night. I have some extras
just incase because they are not the regular size batteries.

These lights are very bright and do tend to look like the typical bright white LED lamp. They have two settings. I have not tried the lower setting to see how much the brightness is reduced. Either way I think you will still have the Bright White LED look. This worked really nicely for our purposes.Length of Ownership: < 1 year

We appreciate your interest in this item. These lights have two different timer settings - 6 hour and 10 hour. When using the 6 hour timer setting, the light output is 45 lumens constantly. When using the 10 hour timer setting, the light output is 36 lumens for the first 5 hours and 18 lumens for the remaining 5 hours.9 months ago
