Solar lights with options I like the options that these lights come with. You can choose between longer "on" time but at a lower brightness, or a shorter "on" time with a higher brightness level. However, they don't come on right away once it's clearly dark. That's my only complaint: I wish they would come on as soon as dusk has clearly settled in - but they don't come on until it's practically pitch black outside. Lights have a very nice level of brightness - there's nothing puny about that. June 1, 2012

garden lights These lights are great. I had previously bought four and just bought 4 more.They use lithium batteries and hold a charge well. They put out good light and have two time settings. They are much better than the standard nicad lights. June 1, 2012

Well worth the money! We purchased 3 sets of the lights to illuminate our long flat steps to the front door. They are very nice quality and provide lots of light with no messy cords. The ones the previous owner had were the flimsy plastic type. These are very attractive...and hey, they actually do exactly what they're supposed to do :). May 31, 2012

Solid purchase Worked as advertised out of the box. Clearly much brighter than our older 1st generation lights. The batteries had enough charge on them to work on the first night. Until they were fully charged, they only worked an hour or two. The light sensor does require it to be quite dark before they turn on. Looks good and easy to install and set. May 31, 2012

Pro Series IV Solar path lights I have a large bi-level deck and needed solar lights to brightly illuminate the exterior deck area. I felt I couldn't go wrong after reading the reviews of the beautiful lights. I ordered 4 lights right off; they were so bright I have since ordered 8 more lights. I am extremely happy with the clarity. The box store solar lights can't hold a candle to the Pro Series lights. Good quality, fair price, quick service/shipping. I am a Front Gate customer for life! Not so great I originally purchased 6 of these- They are solid and appear very attractive- Unfortunately, due to their weight, the small stakes that are supposed to anchor them in the ground are too short to be adequate- In addition, after charging the batteries for 48 hours, I had to send 2 back as they wouldn't work- Upon receiving a new set of 2, I again charged these and everything was fine...for 1 week!! Now 2 more have failed to light! I have replaced the batteries in all 6 lights, recharged them and am awaiting to see the results this evening- All lights are in brightly lit areas of my pathway- If these fail to work, they're all going back as it doesn't make sense to invest more time and $ in something so unreliable- Come on, this is supposed to be Frontgate quality!! Solar patio lights We purchased 10 solar powered patio lights and had one that went bad after two weeks. Frontgate customer support replaced the bad light and didn't even ask us to return the bad unit. We received the new light in just a few days. Great customer service! Best Purchase Ever I have held off on purchasing solar lights because I was not happy with the amount of light they gave off. These are by far the best I have ever seen. Love the outdoor lights! Just purchased 3 sets of these lights to light steps on our patio. They are attractive out of the box, and have a larger surface area to the solar cells on top, so I was hopeful that they would be brighter than the big box store models. They work perfectly, and absorbed enough light on the first day to light up that night. One note: They come with the batteries described in the directions. We did not check before we went out and bought batteries, and they were provided with the units. So now we are prepared for whenever they need replacing! May 3, 2012

Better than the junk at the big box stores. They put out a reasonable amount of light, certainly more than the cheap ones at the big home stores. Two of 12 did not work and were returned. Mechanical design is poor. They easily come apart. If you try to move one after placing it, the lower part will stay in the ground and you'll need to dig it out. Simply it is a poor (cheapest) design. I hot glued the sections together to solve that problem. It remains to be seen how long they last. May 2, 2012

I think they're all working now I purchased 2 sets of lights...1st night only one turned on 2nd&3rd nights 2 on ..4th the original went off but the other 3 on...I took the batteries out of all lights and marked the ones that did not work..batteries were fine.I gave it another try and after 6 nights I think they are now all working... but for how long...they look great but I am disappointed about the performance. How can I replace the lens for the light sensors?

on Set of Two Pro Series IV Solar Path Lights

The lens on the top of the Top Housings have faded and turn the lights on very early. This makes the batteries go dead earlier in the evening.
Is it possible to replace the lens that sense the daylight or the entire top housing? If so, could you please provide the P/N and price?
