We have a 100 pound German Shepherd dog and he likes to stretch out full length on the extra large size bed. He prefers fleece to microfiber and the foam supports his body weight well. Sometimes he uses the bolsters and sometimes he doesn't; the large size of the bed gives him this option. This is a very reasonably priced bed, given both its size and quality. We won't give him the bone pillow, though, because he will chew it up.

My 8+ year-old, 100 lb.+ dog is IN LOVE with his new pet bed!!! I had never before purchased a pet bed for him because he claims the couch, bed, and rugs anyhow. But, since he is now a senior and has some hip joint issues, I decided to try the orthopedic foam cushioning for him. He is a huge fan of his new bed, even though he still hogs the couch, my bed, and the rugs. Regardless, he is super happy with the addition of the pet bed and I love the fact that it looks fabulous!! :) Thank you Frontgate!

I really was excited when I ordered the Sherpa Dog Beds. I ordered two Medium sized beds with the complimentary bone pillows. When the first bed came I was really excited about receiving it. From the first day the fleece started to shed and it is still shedding. The bed was a nice size and color. When I received the second bed, it was supposed to be a medium as well, but it was smaller in overall construction. This is really disappointing because I expect top notch quality from Frontgate. So I am keeping the two dog beds because the dogs don't care about the small difference in sizing, but I do!

We got the dog bed and it was much smaller than we had thought it would be. Apparantly the measurements in the catalog were overall measurements and not the measurements of the actual sleeping area for the dog. Further, the bed "rocked" as it has an uneven bottom. Nowhere did I see that feature and our dog wouldn't even try it because it appeared unstable to her.

Bought the X-Large for our 100lb Chocolate Lab Java...not only does he love it but my kids enjoy laying on it with him and say its more comfortable than their own beds. The foam is thick and sturdy enough to support their weight. He fits within the bolsters laying stretched out and uses the bolsters and pillow all the time. I great bed, wish I bought this for him 10 years ago! Great quality and color (Pomegranate/Java). It's a big bed but is worth it...!

This is a wonderful, comfortable, well made bed. I wish that I had purchased the x-large size bed for my 45 pound springer (she looks exactly like the picture in the catalog). The springer pictured must be on the x-large bed as the large is not that generous. I highly recommend this bed, but measure carefully and consider a size larger than recommended .

LOVE this dog bed. It's pretty, well made, and my dogs really seem to enjoy using it. In fact, we had to wash it yesterday and one of our dogs (the one who's really attached to it) was lost without it. Also, speaking of it being washed .. I was worried that it would start to look worn with a washing. It actually came out looking even better. Couldn't be happier with the purchase!!

This dog bed looks nice but ripped immediately when my dog pawed at it. He always does this to "nesti" or to get his scent on something new but the sherpa cover is so thin it did not hold up. Given that I got the extra large bed for extra large dogs, the fabric should be a little tougher to handle dogs of 100 lbs who it was designed for. Now I have a ripped bed and stuffing coming out all over the floor. Very disappointing..
