Absolutely beautiful!
This is by far the most beautiful fire table I have ever seen. Everyone who sees it agrees. It is great quality and amazing price! So much heat generated from this beauty. Highly recommend

Pretty, but doesn't work well
I bought one of these last summer and really liked the looks of it. Since it was summer in the south, I didn't light it until late fall. The unit wouldn't light, so I spent a few calls working through issues until I finally got it to light. The only problem is I have to hold the button in constantly or it goes out. Manufacturer says tough since it is now out of 90 day warranty. Not the kind of quality I expected from Frontgate.

Very classy
I had been looking for a firepit for a few years and when I saw this one in the Frontgate catalog, I knew it was the one! It took a couple of months to get but was so worth the wait. It is just stunning! The quality and beauty of the base and tile top do not even begin to compare with those I have seen in retail outdoor furniture shops for the same cost. It is just as pictured in the catalog--very classy. Since it is winter here, we've only been able to use the firepit twice--enough to let us know the fire itself is very nice. The gas flames are very realistic and quite warm. The table is the perfect size and the edge has plenty of room to set drinks and snacks on it without danger of falling off or getting too hot. The logs and lava rock are nice but based on reviews from others, we can't wait to try the copper fire glass we also purchased. Until spring, the firepit is covered with the nice, heavy duty vinyl cover that also was optional. We highly, highly recommend this firepit!

Can this firepit be used on a composite deck?
I was ready to order this firepit table until I read the safety warnings in the manual posted on the web stating not to use on a deck. We use a gas grill on our azek deck. Why would this be different with respect to safety?

can we use main gas connection on a patio that has quick hook-up for gas hose
can we use main gas connection on a patio that has quick hook-up for gas hose?
we have currently a BBQ that is hooked up with the gas hose that can be quickly plugged in or plugged out. We would like to be able to use the mains gas for the fire pit, rather than propane.

We appreciate your interest in this item. This firepit can be converted to natural gas using the conversion kit which is included at the time of purchase. While the hardware is included, it is recommended that a professional/plumber complete the conversion.Has staff answer

Answer:
To light the fire pit, locate the control and igniter panel. Make sure the control knob is in the “OFF” position. Open the tank door and open the tank valve all the way. Push in the igniter button. You will hear a slight clicking sound. With the igniter button pushed in, push and turn the control knob to the “ON” position. The fire should light within a few seconds. Once the flame is lit, release the igniter button and continue to hold the control knob in for 10 to 15 seconds. Release the control knob. The control knob should pop back out and the fire should remain lit. Note: If the fire does not light, turn the knob to the “OFF” position and wait five (5) minutes before trying again.Answer:
Pull out the side where your propane gas tank sits. Make sure the gas is on. Turn on via top button that is back in that area and push it in as you also push the igniter button below it. Once it is lit, be sure you hold the top button 10 more seconds.3 months ago
