Soft Sided Portable Dog Crate is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Crate We haven't used this a lot yet but it is roomy & nice looking. It's kinda like a tent for your dog with the way it zips up & the material. We like its versatility as you can fold it up for travel. Only issue could be if your dog would scratch the netting type openings but the material seems to be very durable. First time our dog was in the crate he went right to sleep. It is well vented and open air too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Travel Crate We have a 4 month old Black Lab who goes everywhere with us. I purchased this for traveling. It fold easily to check as luggage at the airport and fits great in the back of my SUV for road travel. It is easy to collapse for sleepovers at Grammas' house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great portable crate We have two 4-mo old lab puppies and needed something to transport them in safely in the car. They are litter mates & want to always be together so the large crate is great for the both of them for short trips to the vet & day care. The crate is sturdy and easy to setup & breakdown.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Portable crate! I have 3 of these! One at my home, one at the grandparents (dog sitter) and one for traveling in the car. I have a smaller one in the car due to dimensions, but it works well for my dog's size. If your dog is crate trained like mine, or needs to travel by crate, do not hesitate to buy this portable crate. I LOVE it! I have had a portable crate before, different brand, but it did not hold up as this one seems to be holding up. We have unzipped it many of times and it is very durable. Order now it's awesome! I highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So glad So glad you had this available; it's just what we needed. Just adopted a 4yr old terrier mix & needed a crate for travel, daytime shade outdoors, and in home. Well made, easy to carry or fold up, perfect size, great color; favorite feature is the three sides of access. Thank you, Frontgate!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super travel option! This is a great travel crate. I got the XL size for my 80 lb. labradoodle and it is just the right size. I wouldn't suggest it for a dog bigger than that. It is easy to set up, lightweight but sturdy, and folds flat for storage. Definitely worth the price. Best part was that I needed it in 2 days and Frontgate got it shipped immediately to me. They are the best!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Travel Crate This Crate is easy and quick to assemble and just as easy and compact to store. Our beagle does not like riding in the car, but this allows her to ride comfortably and safely. She also enjoys having it as her home away from home when she travels. It is sturdy and easy to keep clean. It is also both prettier and lighter than most travel crates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Travel-portable and lightweight We use the crate for traveling in the car with our 50 lb dog and the large size works perfectly in the back of our 2013 escape. The crate is easy to set up and tear down and is lovingly referred to as "Katie's pack-and-play." I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a portable crate and has a dog who is crate trained. As this crate has a good deal of mesh, I would not recommend this crate for dogs with crate anxiety or highly destructive dogs. We are currently on our second soft-sided crate. The fabric is extremely durable and I think the crate's weak spot is the mesh. As our then puppy was not 100% crate trained, the first crate did a good job withstanding lots of pawing, but was eventually sent back after almost a year of use since our then puppy had ripped a few holes in the mesh and had ripped off the zipper clip. We had no problems returning the first crate and were happy to receive a new one.

Arthritis hand - ease of setup?

I have tried several different crates. With arthritis in my hands I was not able to set them up or take them down. How easy would this be for someone with this condition to use?
Asked by: susanilla
I am not sure actually, but it is pretty easy to set them up, as I have 3 and have done it a number of times. It just takes seconds. It consists of unfolding the crate (2 small steps) and then locking 2 upper parts in place. Give it a try! It's a GREAT crate!

what size would be right for a 65-75 pound golden retriever?

Asked by: lgraham
To ensure that your dog has enough room, we recommend that you first measure your dog at shoulder and their full length and compare to the dimensions of each crate. Most likely the Large or Extra Large will be the best fit.

Has anyone used these carriers for their cats?

We plan to road travel and are tired of boarding them. Plus it costs a fortune. We decided our next vacation when we fly we could but them a plane ticket for less than boarding them! I thought this give them room, comfort, and fit nicely in my station wagon or my husband's SUV. Would the mesh hold up to kitty claws? This will be a new experience for them
Asked by: garden57
Thank you for your interest in the Soft Sided Portable Dog Crate. This item could be used for cats as long as they are declawed. However, please keep in mind that this item is not designed specifically for plane travel; please consult your airline regarding their regulations for pet carriers.
