Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Necessary If you own any of the amazing shower stools or benches you must have Spa Teak Shield or your stool or bench will loose it's wonderful finish. It's a protection. It keeps it beautiful and functional. You really can't have one without the other. It is absolutely necessary. It's not expensive and very easy to apply. I love it. I have several bottles stocked so I'll never run out. March 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Spa Teak Shield I put on the Teak shield and followed the directions. I has only been a month or so, but so far it has worked very well. I plan on redoing the bench and shelves after about 6 months. I love the way it looks and it really works. July 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great cleaner, water protector and preserver This teak wood shield seems to be doing it's job. I have an "in-shower" teak wood caddy that I used the shield on it and the water beads on the shelves. Teak wood is suppose to be water friendly but to keep from mold and mildew, it is perferred to be protected from these elements if you want to care for your stuff. At the prices I have paid for a few teak wood items, it is definitely worth doing verses paying for the replacements...and that's if you can find them later. May 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Tipsy Bottle. The Teak Shield liquid and bottle become very slippery when the rubber gloves are also wet. It was necessary to be very careful when putting the bottle down so it did not turn over when applying the liquid. Two coats seemed to do the job. February 6, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by worth the investment I bought the teak shield after having our shower stool for a couple of months. I could see that it was already losing its nice honey color. The directions are very clear and the shield was easy to apply. I did have to sand lightly before applying, but the result was worth it. It looks great again. The only downside, in my opinion, is that the product is rather expensive for what it is. April 9, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Product protector I bought the spa teak shield to protect the spa shower seat I was purchasing. Since the shower seat was so expensive I didnt want to risk ruining it by NOT sealing it. It was easy to apply but you had to wait a few days to use the shower seat. The product seems to do the job as water beads up on the seat. However, I do think the seat should have been already sealed at the time of purchase. The spa shield should be available to "re apply" after months of use. My only complaint was the wait period to use the product and the price considing the small size of the bottle. June 26, 2013
