Great Teak Corner Shower Seat with Basket
Ordered on 5/11 -Saturday. Arrived Thursday - I live in the north woods. Sturdy, protective packaging - no damage. Assembled in about 30 minutes per enclosed instructions. Tools supplied worked fine, finished using my shop tools. Very sturdy! Solid Teak. Unique, clever fasteners. Basket appears brass. Exceeded expectations. Thanks FrontGate!
Will update after a year in the shower.

Great shower seat
I have lower back pain and stiffness and this seat is perfect for shaving my legs. I didn't want anything with an institutional look and this seat is so spa like. It went together very nicely and looks great. Was easy to adjust to the slant of the shower floor. I wouldn't change anything about it!

Corner Shower Seats Rock!
I purchased two of these for use in the showers in recently remodeled guest bathrooms. They have a nice simple look and the teak is very good quality. They would be more easily assembled if they were engineered a little less tightly. I had to do some trimming to be able to force the front center leg into both examples. Otherwise very cute and useful benches.

Teak Corner Shower Seat
I'm really happy with this purchase. I was worried it might be too big but it is the perfect size and looks great. Four stars because I had trouble putting it together. As others have mentioned, the leg in front does not fit in easily. We ended up not getting it in all the way but it looks fine and the legs are very stable. It would be nice if the feet on the bottom were adjustable because it wobbles in my shower where the floor is sloped toward the drain and not level.

Teak Corner Seat
The seat had very poor design for assembly. It did not say to take the basket off first. After many tries, we took it off. That was the only way to assemble it properly.

I am trying to determine if this will fit in my shower, and do not understand the dimentions given in the discription. It says it is 26 inches wide by 19 inches deep....but it is in the shape of a quarter circle so both the wide and deep measurements should be the same (i.e., the radius of the circle).
How long in inches are the two straight sides? 19 or 26 inches?

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this item. The width measurement of 26 inches is from one end to the corner of the shower basket (shown along the wall of the shower), while the 19 inch depth dimension is measured from the corner of the shower basket to the front of the seat on a diagonal (radius). We apologize for any confusion.Answer:
It measures 20 inches on the straight sides.Length of Ownership: < 1 year

Answer:
The top part can be placed in the bottom section as shown in the advertised photo. The bottom part is 13" wide and 8.5" deep. The top part is 12" wide and 8" deep. I use the two parts separately, one in each bathroom. It seems to me that this product may not be as effective in the shower since there are several divided sections. And water could pile up within the product.Length of Ownership: < 1 year

Answer:
The straight sides are 19 inches, but the unit does not fit right next to the wall. If you put a tape measure in the corner, the unit describes a circle of 21 1/2 inches. It is 18 1/2 inches high2 months, 3 weeks ago
Answer:
The seat is like one quarter of a pie. From the corner to the edge on each side is actually 20 inches. If you measure from the two outer edges it is 27 and one half inches. Of course the outside edge is one quarter of circle so the circumference of the one quarter circle is 31 inches but that is circular so it will fit if you have room for 27 inches. My sweetheart uses hers in a very small shower. Mine fits easily in a five foot by three foot space. KRWLength of Ownership: < 1 year

Answer:
The seat is like half a protractor 90 degrees. From the angle point which would fit in the corner it comes out 20 inches. It is 28 inches wide from the two outside corners. It stands at 18 and 1/2 inches. The legs are 17 inches in length and an extra inch for the seat. This Shower seat fits perfectly in both of my showers which in my case at about 5 feet by 3 feet.Length of Ownership: < 1 year

Do the feet/legs sit in a way so that the seat itself will touch the walls of the shower even if your shower floor has a raised border that comes in from the wall?
