These lanterns look great and work well. They are a little smaller than I expected but a nice addition to my deck.

Very Good Quality
I was very impressed by the Quality of the large trident outdoor lanterns. I ordered 4 for my pool/patio area. They are stable, well made and the glass is thick as well. I will definately order products from Frontgate again.

not worth the money
Lanterns are poorly constructed. One I purchased was broken and another is difficult to get the door to close. Not worth the money

Quality and not too Big
The
lanterns are nicer than pictured. I ordered two large lanterns to place
on top of stacked stone pillars at the entrance to my driveway. No need
to worry about the height to width ratio or scale of the lantern. They
look terrific. The glass enclosure is beveled and looks beautiful and
authentic. The lanterns are oiled rubbed bronze finish over brass and
are weathering nicely.

These lanterns are very nice. I purchased several of the mini lanterns, and one medium sized. They feel solid and have a nice finish.

Trident outdoor lanterns.
Simply great. I was looking for something that would go well in my master bath. Wanted something that was up off the floor: the short legs were perfect. Loved the beveled glass. Gave it just a bit more elegance. Right size, nice weight.. great look and the price? One third the cost of others I had looked at that were not as nice. I bought the next two sizes, as well. They will be great in my gardens.

Looks fantastic out on the deck
Excellent quality lanterns now adorn my deck. Once the weather turns warmer I look forward to the excitement of candlelight for my guests. As always, frontgate quality abounds.

They Looked Nice in the Catelogue
I ordered several Trident latterns and I really loved them in the catelogue but one came delivered without any soldering or welding on one door hinge and had to be returned. Now I am nervous that the others may break after a couple of seasons of use because their welds may not be high enough quality to last.
We shall see Frontgate.

awful purchase
We bought two sets of small lanterns. Of the four, one door fell off when we opened it to put in a candle and one foot fell off of a 2nd lantern, so we have a 50% damage rate. Not a happy place to be!

Not made well
I love the look of this large lantern, however on the doors where the large rod holds the doors closed, the 2 things the rod slides into have fallen off on the floor. It looks like they were poorly glued, which for the price should have been soudered in place. Very dissappointed! But will not pay to ship back.

Good product; needs fine tuning.
Lantern is very attractive and well-made. A nice addition to our deck. But the way the votive candle works leaves something to be desired. Instead of a spike in the bottom, there should be some kind of holder for the candle that will keep it in place and catch the wax.

Large Trident Lantern
I am very pleased with my first purchase from Frontgate. The lantern exceeded my expectations. Although it is advertised as an outdoor lantern, I am using it indoors with a muted, chunky candle to complement my decor. Many compliments from family and friends.

Lanterns with one manufacturing fault
I love the look of my new trident outdoor lanterns.
They look as handsome as they appeared on the online ads. However, when putting a candle in each of them I found the small cylinder shaped tube that the closing piece threads through is not well attached. One fell off the first time I tried to
close the lantern. I have one other that looks shaky. I am now going to try and super glue the piece back on. I like the look well enough to go to the trouble but it mars an otherwise great shopping experience.

Great Purchase
I am a big fan of Frontgate. Everything that I have ordered has always been fantastic quality. I Love the Large Trident Outdoor Lantern. I ordered two and on both of the lanterns on the front of the two glass doors to ignite the candles, there is a small tube that you put the lock through to secure the doors, on both of the lanterns, the small tube broke off before we used it. I called customer service to inform them of this issue, They were more than helpful to exchange the lanterns. I chose to use them to make sure that it wasn't a problem. I don't think it will be a problem but because of the quality of Frontgate I felt that I should let them know. But as far as the lantern style, quality, you can't beat it. I am looking forward to sitting on the deck with the lanterns glowing in the dark.

Just what I was looking for
The Trident Outdoor Lanterns are built very well and were just what I was looking for. I did a lot of internet searching before I purchased these and I am not sorry. They are a little pricier than others, but worth the money. Beautiful hanging around my porch at night! Slightly smaller than I was expecting, but still work well.

Sale item mini lamps were of excellent quality, shipping was prompt, your staff was pleasant and helpful on this, our initial order. Our retirement income being fixed, we are particularly interested in sale items, closeouts, etc. and look forward to receiving sales brochures by postal mail as well as email.

Too Late
The lanterns that were ordered were of excellent quality and design. The only regret that I have is that I did not order in a more timely manner the smaller lanterns that were available on line. By not responding quickly I missed out on the better prices.

excellent value, gorgeous classy lantern. versatile--you can use with elevated holder in center for smaller candles. i'm using indoors now, and will move outdoors this summer. would recommend to anyone

Beautiful lantern
We purchased this lantern to use on the deck in the summer. It's so beautiful that we're using by the fireplace this winter. Too nice to put away until spring!

looks wonderful
Our intention is to use this by our pool in Florida.
Although we have not seen how this item "weathers" yet (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) - it is actually a beautiful piece. It is substantial in size and weight and seems sturdy. Considering adding another to complete the look!

Great addition, indoors or out
This is a beautiful, well made lantern. The glass is top quality w/a nice bevel that reflects the light. Caution: Be careful not to order a candle that is too tall. It can accomodate a wide candle, which I recommend. The suggested off white outdoor candle is a good choice.

Yes. I have all three sizes (small, medium and large). The smaller ones I put in the windows of my screened in patio hanging from a chain and the two trees in my front yard. I really like them.Length of Ownership: < 1 year
