- Length (front to back)
- Width (side to side): Take width measurements in three different places, and use the smallest)
*Note: Cushions become worn over time, so thickness may be inaccurate. A general guide is 2”-3” for wood furniture cushions and 3”-5” for aluminum furniture cushions.
- Length of seat (front to back) and add 1 inch
- Width of seat: Side to side in the middle (for chairs without arms), or between insides of armrests. If the backrest is curved, add 1.5 inch.
- Thickness: Measure the back opening of the seat and add 1 inch. If there's no back opening, estimate 2-3" for wood chairs and 3-5" for aluminum chairs.
