Rated 5 out of 5 by 'No Reservations' prior to ordering I questioned the company about odor expectations and when it would be expected to resolve. I ordered the float prior to receiving an answer(which I got 2 days later). Odor is a 'NON-ISSUE'. taking it out of the box is like the odor when you buy a beach ball - very plastic. if that didn't resolve it might have been an issue. 2 days later - barely present. 1 week later-1st use of float - no odor whatsoever-lying on back for an hour. when leaving the pool I tried the sniff test - no odor. VERY comfortable - good back support, good head support. Big guy-6'2"/ 217lbs - float generally above water - Minimal water comes up under butt/lower back. Better than the floats at nice resorts. BUY IT! March 30, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Dog Float Ever I've had numerous foam floats used by humans and dogs alike. None have lasted more than a season, because the dogs love to take running jumps onto them and "surf" which absolutely tears them up. These are on the 3rd season. A few claw punctures and a bite out of the corner, but still hanging in there. Well worth the price. July 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Alternate Use for Floats I currently have two of these wonderful floats and just received my third. Although they are marvelous in the water, I am going to use all three to make cushions for my very large curved gazebo bench. I had been looking for outdoor waterproof foam for some time, when I remembered the floats. I sliced open the pillow ends to have them lie flat (applying heat and pressure to help it along), then put the paper template I had made on top of them, tracing the curve, and cut it out with an electric carving knife. Since my bench is quite deep, I sliced one in half and spray glued it to the back of the curved side so that the "cushions" would fit my bench perfectly. I sealed the cut areas with a matching color "Vinyl repair sealant & adhesive" by Super Soft. I now have wonderfully waterproof, thick, virtually crush proof, outdoor cushions. I haven't yet decided if I am going to cover them with material or not as they are quite colorful on their own. April 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Float Not sure why there aren't more good reviews, I have had 3 of these floats for over 3 years and they are still as good as new. They have taken good beatings from my kids and still in great shape. They have not faded and as far as I am concerned worth every penny. August 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by floats theses are amazing floats,, the coatings are a little fragile, you have to be careful with them... May 24, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by So Far.....So Good We recently purchased the sea foam green float. When it arrived it smelled really bad! We put the float outside on our lanai and by the next day the smell was gone. It's very comfortable! When not in use it comes out of the water and put under cover. We'll see how long it lasts! Rated 4 out of 5 by Very comfortable turned upside down Love these rafts, but they fade very quickly , and only last a year without cracking on the sides or tops if you live in Florida where we use ours almost on a daily basis. That in turns hurts your arms when you have them at the sides. We use them turned up side down, a lot more comfortable on the neck. May 13, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Foam Pool Floats Not as Awesome as they Seem! We purchased these pool floats the first time about 2.5 years ago. We received them and they began to blister after just a few weeks of use. Frontgate graciously sent us a new set but we had to pay for the shipping to return all 4 (no easy task!). We have had the new set since that time, but if you leave them in the sun at all they begin to melt. If they are in the sun touching each other, they will stick together and when you attempt to unstick them, the plastic light covering comes off.. If you leave them on cement, they will also stick to the cement and tear when you lift them. We have always tried to store them out of direct sunlight but they are for USE IN THE SUN!. We would not buy these again are really bummed they didn't last very long considering their hefty price. July 29, 2015

I am starting to see wrinkles - is this a sign it is wearing out already? Is the sun bad for them if I leave them on the deck?

Answer:
We do recommend storing the World's Finest Pool Float in Sea Blue in a covered area when not in use. These floats typically have some wrinkles from the shipping process, but these should smooth out once unpackaged. We do not recommend rolling them again once they have been unpackaged or stacking directly on top of each other.

Answer:
Yes, for sure. You can roll it and then use packing clear wrap from a moving store to keep it rolled up. The wrap I'm talking about is like a cling wrap but made for wrapping moving items. I would not fold it since I don't know how it would hold up. It comes rolled and I've stored it rolled without a problem. If your first use will be on vacation then don't unroll it when you get it.

I've had my float for just over a year and the outer coating is starting to get holes in it. I wish to fix it before it gets too bad.

Thanks
