Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classy looking pet barrier. I take our dog to my business every day, and I wanted to give him room to roam between my office and the customer area. I bought two sections, and it's perfect for an office setting. The bronze finish is classy, and it was very simple to set up. No tools required.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gate I bought this gate to keep our two Maltese dogs out of the living room. The gate is beautiful and the dogs don't try to go over it. The gate is very sturdy and the bronze finish is beautiful. I have received may compliments on the gate from friends and neighbors. I would recommend this gate, in fact, I am going to order another one for my dining room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for large opening I bought this about a month ago and it is just what I was looking for. It was hard to find an attractive gate for our opening of 72". I put it together myself-not difficult at all. It is sturdy, looks nice with our decor, and is made of quality materials that will last.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Attractive and easy to assemble. I purchased this gate to keep my dogs from going down into my garden. The instructions said that this was for indoor use only (this was not mentioned in the description). I couldn't see a reason why not, except perhaps that the finish wouldn't last, so I sprayed it with matte polyurethane to seal it well. Looks good in the space and will serve its function. We plan to anchor it to the stone around it to make it even more secure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from heavy duty my one complaint is that the latch is difficult and it doesn't allow me to pass as quickly as I would like. You have to lift up and sometimes it's tricky. besides that it is beautiful and blends in with our home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Barrier for my puppy! Nice looking, surprisingly light weight and easy to move around. I am using two as an "exercise pen" space for the puppy when I leave then moving them to the wide opening to my kitchen when I'm home so he can play.

Asked by: brenda nance
Thank you for your interest in the 34"H Freestanding Pet Barrier with Gate. This is a freestanding gate that does not need to be mounted to the doorframe. This gate is designed to have the walk through on the front right side with the gate opening in toward the side panels. There are rubber pads on the feet to keep the gate from sliding and your animals should not knock it over, it is very sturdy.

Will this be stable on carpet?

Asked by: chayes
Thank you for your interest in the 34"H Freestanding Pet Barrier with Walk-through Door. The stability of this will depend on the pile of the carpet. If you have a thicker pile carpet, then this gate will be more unstable than if you have a thinner pile carpet.
