How do you assemble this item?
Thank you for your interest in the 34'' Safety Sparkguard. Once you set this on top of your fire table, you can fit the brackets to the table. The sparkgaurd can then be lifted open as needed.

Is the shell supposed to be able to open up to add wood. Seems to open about 4". Does not quite fit the pit. Is that part of the design? Do you have a video of it working correctly?

Romantic evenings with my hubby a glass of wine
I’ve had this fire pit for 15 years. I change the sparkguard every few years. We use this most of the spring summer and Fall. The cover goes on it during bad weather and stored away all winter. The copper bowl comes out beautiful after i wash it out periodically 3-4 times during the seasons. Love it.

Survived an F-4 tornado!
We weathered an F-4 tornado in March of 2021. The firepit we bought from you never separated nor moved an inch, but a heavy wrought iron heavy table next to it, purchased elsewhere, was broken to pieces. We decided that your merchandise is worth the price and purchased the safety guard and cover. Both are expertly made. I never thought I would consider a sparkguard as pretty, but it is so well crafted, that it is quite beautiful. We appreciate your company and your dedication to quality!

Fantastic Spark Guard
I have already attached the Sparkguard to my firepit and it was simple to do. The new spark guard is very sturdy and easy to use to avoid sparking to create a fire outside the fire pit. It also helps to keep sparks from hitting individuals sitting around the firepit.

Pretty good quality
High quality screen. Living in the Northeast, I imagine it should last at least a couple years before it starts to rust or show signs of degradation. Will bring it into the garage during the winter to maybe extend its life.

Excellent!
This is the second time we have purchased this fire pit cover and we love it! It holds up extremely well. We had our first for maybe 5 years before the salt water, we live by the ocean, took its toll. It’s very easy to put together, took maybe 10 minutes max, and looks great. Highly recommend.
