I love my vanity, the color is perfect with the room (a pale sea foam Green) wood area, the mirror set just right,.the storage areas are designed for multiple size items.very comfortable for long sitting.electrical hook-ups..very handy and work well. everything is just great! It is worth the money.

I love this!
I should have bought this sooner. I read reviews about paint chipping and that it was green. I'm here to say the paint is fine and it is really a robin egg bluish. This is the handiest piece of furniture I have ever owned.

Stunning piece!
Beautiful, functional, plenty of space for all items, love the hot tool drawer, color is pale green! Perfect piece for applying makeup and styling hair. Truly luxurious. Vanity has a slight paint odor when you open drawers, hope it will dissipate with use.

Great Build Yet Gold Paint Flakes Off
I ordered the gold and mirror model in January 2017 and after a few months the gold paint began to flake off. Frontgate was excellent in handling the matter and a replacement was sent in August 2017. Unfortunately it wasn't an isolated matter and the gold paint began coming off everywhere, even in area's where there is no friction. We only cleaned with with a soft cloth and no cleaning products.
As I have experience in carpentry and staining/painting, it seems they did not properly prime the vanity before applying the gold finish. Frontgate has offered a full refund as they do not sell the mirrored model anymore. I suspect this is due to the same defect others have posted as well. I have been given permission to properly fix it by removing the remaining gold paint, applying a proper primer, then a similar gold/silver finish. I've attached some images for reference.
The current model offered shouldn't suffer from the same defects as the finish is a solid color and not distressed, which is also another factor in the gold and mirror version flaking off.
Otherwise, this is a well built vanity with the most storage space and well crafted drawers with top quality liners, making use of every inch of space. The power strip inside the bottom left drawer with holders for hairdryers and other items requiring power is brilliant as is the various sized round holders for brushes. Regardless of the gold and mirror model issues, I would highly recommend this model as it should not suffer the same issues. After our bathroom renovations in our New York home, the Master Suite bath is a take on modern Art Deco, thus the mirrored model is perfect and we couldn't find any that fit the form and function we needed. I hope Frontgate works with the vendor to solve the issue as the gold and mirror model is spectacular. However, as they're both the same in build, this model should be perfect.
I'm rating this four stars as the gold and mirror model was pulled, a proper decision by Frontgate, and the vanity is very well built and highly recommend it.

I really like this piece, but I had to purchase the estate vanity mirror to use on top of the vanity because the mirror inside the lid is too low. It cuts me off at nose level unless I push my stool back away from the vanity (and I’m only 5’3”). If the lid could be opened wider, it would be better.

Beautiful but poor quality
I purchased the mirrored vanity in December 2017. As gorgeous as the vanity is, it was defected and I would not recommend the headache. Upon assembling a draw knob with care, the mirror drawer cracked. Frontgate has superb customer service and they sent me a brand new vanity in January 2018. In June 2018, once the heat came in Connecticut, a mirror draw cracked out of no where. I was so disappointed. Frontgate explained that the mirrored vanity has a defect due to the fiber behind the mirror. Apparently it expands and retracts with cold and hot weather, pushing the mirror to crack. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, although I am pleased with the customer service. As gorgeous as it is, it's not worth the headaches, waiting around for delivery men, calling Frontgate, etc.

Is the Alessandra eglomise vanity in the soft green tone something I could order or is it totally out of production? I would not want any other color unless in blue.
